  I paid cash to have a bully bar installed on my 2021 Silverado 3.0 Duramax. Shortly after the installation, the truck developed a check engine code. I returned within days and was told the issue had been fixed, but the code had only been cleared and returned shortly afterward. When I brought the truck back again, I was told the shop was not responsible because I had requested the bully bar installation. As someone who is not a diesel specialist, I relied on the shop’s expertise to determine whether the product was compatible with my vehicle and whether any factory components would need to be removed. A year later, while removing bully bar and restoring the truck to factory condition for emissions compliance, Chevrolet dealership discovered that air shutter ducting and support components were missing. The repair required additional parts and labor costing thousands of dollars. Looking back, the missing components appear directly related to the code that began immediately after the bully bar installation. What concerns me most is not the mistake itself. Mistakes happen. What concerns me is that when the problem appeared immediately after the installation, the code was cleared rather than properly diagnosed, and responsibility was denied despite the timing of the issue. I am sharing this experience so other customers can make informed decisions. If you have aftermarket accessories installed here, especially on modern diesel vehicles with active grille shutters and emissions-related cooling systems, I strongly recommend getting detailed documentation of any factory parts removed, keeping all receipts, and confirming that all systems continue to operate correctly before leaving the shop.

  A great experience with this team. Truck came out looking better than expected. They installed a 5” lift and brand new tires and wheels. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get some work done. Great service.
