  Apparently the collision repair process here is pretty simple: fix some of the accident damage, ignore the rest, and then tell the customer they must have caused whatever you missed. They’re now claiming damage from my accident was somehow caused by me afterward. Meanwhile, my seatbelt is broken and I’m left with a vehicle I can’t legally drive. Really impressive experience. I brought them a damaged car to repair and somehow walked away being blamed for the damage AND without a properly functioning seatbelt. If accountability is something you expect from a collision shop, keep looking.

  Brought my car here after an accident. They didn’t fix all the damage, then conveniently decided the damage they missed must have been caused by me afterward. Amazing how that works. Now my seatbelt is broken and I’m stuck with a car I can’t legally drive. So much for restoring a vehicle after a collision. Incomplete repairs, finger-pointing, and zero accountability. Definitely not what I expected from a professional collision shop.

  Brought my car to Gerber for collision repair and got it back with problems that weren’t properly addressed. Now my seatbelt isn’t functioning properly and they’re claiming I caused the damage AFTER the accident. Instead of standing behind the repair, they’re blaming the customer. I absolutely would not bring my vehicle back here.

  Took my car here after an accident expecting them to actually fix the accident damage. Apparently that was asking too much. They returned the car without fixing everything, and instead of taking responsibility, they decided the easiest solution was to claim I must have caused the remaining damage myself after the accident. Convenient. Now I have a broken seatbelt and a car I can’t legally drive because they couldn’t finish the job they were supposed to do in the first place. Nothing says “quality collision repair” quite like getting your car back with a safety issue and a side of blame.

  I was referred to this location by Progressive following an accident that resulted in front end damage. Horrible communication throughout the entire process by Adam. I was the one who initiated most of the communication and hardly ever received updates. Whenever I did, I spoke to a different person (Tricia, Adam, or Monica) who gave me a different response each time. No one was on the same page or seemed to have any idea where my car was in the whole process. The estimated completion date changed several times and the job ultimately took almost a month to complete. To my surprise when it was finally time to pick up my vehicle, there was now a dent in the back end. Adam initially tried to play it off like it was probably there when the car initially showed up until I asked him to the pull up the photos they took when it first arrived. Monica, the manager, was apologetic and said they’d fix/cover the damage. I finally got my vehicle back and although I had a bad experience, it was the holiday season and I couldn’t be bothered to write the review I wanted to at the time. However, 7 months go by and I’m driving on the freeway when the passenger side windshield molding flies off. This is from the same windshield Gerber told me had to be replaced twice under their “care” because the technician cracked it when attempting to put the molding back on. Another month goes by and my windshield actually ends up needing to be replaced due to a crack caused by a rock. The mobile glass repair company shows up, the technician asks about the passenger side molding, I tell him the whole story, he attempts the replacement, and then says “I can change the windshield however, whoever previously put the driver side molding on, did it completely wrong and I’ll probably have to break it to take it off. It looks like they just tried to glue it back on.” So while I thought I wiped my hands clean of Gerber, their poor work is still haunting me to this day. 0/10, DO NOT recommend.
