  My 1995 Country Coach motorhome was towed to this location on March 18, 2026 for a starting problem. Their diagnosis expanded the job into the engine charging system, transmission controller, alternator, and batteries across two work orders totaling $11,714.97. I approved every quote and paid in full on July 21 when I picked it up. Eleven days later the unit would not start. When I opened the compartments I found the starting wire sitting loose on a terminal, a broken battery terminal, and multiple components not connected. Nobody had looked at this unit before handing it back to me. I sent photos the same day. They towed it back on August 3. I then heard nothing for three weeks. When I finally pushed for an answer, I was told the delay was due to staffing changes and training on their end. My motorhome sat while they sorted out their own staffing. The warranty invoice they issued in September lists the cause of the August failure as failure of the alternator they had installed, a damaged battery terminal, and unconnected wiring. The alternator that their July invoice certified as charging correctly at 14.5 volts had no output by August. That is their own paperwork describing their own work. One item on the first work order is worth noting for anyone with an older Allison. I was charged $3,100.68 for a remanufactured transmission control module (part 29517003R, TCM-JULTECH ALLISON), plus $350.00 for programming and $124.65 freight, so $3,575.33 before labor for the module alone. A remanufactured Allison TCM for this application, already programmed, is available for around $1,500. I approved the quote at the time because I trusted the Cummins name to price the part fairly. Price it yourself before you authorize that repair here. The rework was done under their warranty at no charge, which is the minimum a shop owes a customer whose paid repair failed in eleven days. I asked whether any concession would be made for the five and a half months, the second tow, the insurance I carried on a coach I could not use, and the time I spent driving to their facility for a meeting that turned out to be a walkthrough of work I had already paid for. The answer was no. Not a credit, not a discount on a future service, nothing. If you bring a unit here, inspect every connection yourself before you drive it off the lot, get every commitment in writing, and understand that silence from this shop does not mean work is being done. I personally would never take anything there again.

  I brought my RV to Cummins to replace an AC fan belt due to normal wear and age, and unfortunately the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. The first issue happened before I even arrived. The GPS directions provided led me to the back side of the facility into a dead end while I was towing. I had no choice but to disconnect my tow vehicle and turn the RV around in a very difficult area. In hindsight, this should have been a major red flag. When I dropped off the RV, I specifically requested that it be plugged into 110 power to keep the batteries charged. I was given a disclaimer about the breaker possibly tripping, but later discovered the RV had never been plugged in at all. I became concerned and made an unscheduled visit, where I then waited nearly two hours just to receive an updated estimate because they could not get accurate parts pricing. I was also told there is a mandatory minimum of four labor hours just for them to begin work, with additional charges added depending on what they “find.” What started as a relatively straightforward AC belt replacement was first estimated at $1,300. Although I felt the price was high, I reluctantly approved the repair after being promised the RV would be completed by Thursday night. Thursday night I received a call saying they had “other priorities,” so the repair was pushed to Friday. Then on Friday I was informed they could not easily access the AC belt, and the estimate suddenly jumped to $2,300. At that point, I lost confidence in the process and decided to take my RV to my trusted Freightliner service center instead. In my opinion, this experience showed a lack of RV experience, poor communication, weak procedures, and very little accountability. RV owners should proceed with caution.
