  We are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the Mesa, AZ CAMPING World!!!! RYAN with the FINANCE DEPT cannot be trusted!!!! We have attempted to get a problem resolved for months to no avail! A little background: we purchased a brand new 5th Wheel from them in October 2025. At that time they sold us quite a few add-ons, including Good Sam membership and extras that Good Sam covers. The one item that infuriated us was the tire and wheel protection that Camping World charged $1095 for a five-year policy. About a month after we purchased, I contacted Good Sam To get hard copies of our insurance policies. The Representative I spoke to on the phone from Good Sam Informed me that Camping World had not paid for the tire and wheel protection for us!!!! I proceeded to ask them what they would charge for that policy and they informed me that the five-year policy for a tire and wheel is $299! When you do the math, you will see that Camping World cheated us out of a lot of money! ($1095-$299=$796.00). On top of which Camping World never paid a penny to good Sam for this policy! We immediately paid the $299 and enrolled in that tire and we’ll plan directly with Good Sam!! This was in January 2026! Since that time I have made over 20 phone calls to Camping World in Mesa Arizona requesting our $1095 back! I spoke to JC, one of the managers, many times, who assured me that he would take care of it. We also went into the Mesa location and met with Jay and finance who assured us that he would also take care of it. To this day, we still do not have our money! Two days ago, I called Ryann and finance at the Mesa Arizona location and was extremely disappointed in his attitude! Not only was he unprofessional, he told me that he “couldn’t believe I would argue over a small amount of money!” I reminded Ryann that I had made well over 20 phone calls in the last five or six months to their location regarding this issue and his attitude was just tough luck Ryan had me fill out a form that we were canceling our tire and wheel, which he never paid for in the first place, and Ryann notified our Bank to subtract a portion of the $1095 from our loan We are still short, almost $200! I have a pretty even temper, but I am sick and tired of dealing with this Camping World! After Ryann treated me so unprofessionally and rude on the phone, I gave up and informed him that we would take matters into our own hands! His response, in a very unprofessional way, was “go right ahead” DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

  Most terrible awful experience I’ve ever had in my life. Jason or Jayden something with a J? Young white guy in his 30’s, can’t remember because of how rude and racist this guy was. Left this place and plan on letting everyone I know don’t come to this location or even store. Not worth the hassle and disrespect. If I’m paying and buying, bare minimum at the very least. Couldn’t even manage that. Do better.

  This place is a joke, my sister was to buy a 5th wheel and when they went to get it, it was a completely different 5th wheel. The one they showed her was much more expensive unit. Complete waist of time. Avoid this place by all costs

  My wife and I recently purchased our first travel trailer—a 2022 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser—from Camping World in Mesa, and the entire experience was outstanding. Our salesperson, Matthew, was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. He took the time to explain all of the available options, including the Ready to Camp package, outlining both the benefits and the costs so we could make an informed decision. Even when I mentioned items I might be able to do myself, he was honest and helpful in explaining what made sense to handle on my own versus through Camping World. After our initial visit, Matthew welcomed us back the next day for another walkthrough so I could ask additional questions. My wife, our 3-month-old son, and our dog were with me, and the team made the entire experience comfortable and stress-free despite the Arizona heat. Once we decided to purchase the trailer, the financing process was simple and straightforward. A week later, when I arrived to pick up the RV, everything was ready to go. The trailer was cleaned, plugged in, cooled down, and fully set up so I could verify the AC, refrigerator, freezer, and other systems were working properly. Jay in finance was excellent. Even though I have a banking background and was familiar with the paperwork, he still took the time to walk through everything professionally and thoroughly, making sure I understood all available warranty and protection options without any pressure. The experience went above and beyond during pickup. I had chosen to install my own weight distribution hitch and realized I was missing a critical tool. Matthew immediately stepped in and connected me with Tony from the service department. Tony not only provided assistance but came out personally to help with the installation and shared several helpful tips and tricks along the way. Matthew, Jay, and Tony all delivered exceptional customer service. Buying your first travel trailer can be intimidating, but they made the process easy, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend Camping World Mesa and want to thank the entire team for helping us begin our camping adventures.

  We spoke with Drew over the phone and told him what travel trailer that we were interested in. We also informed him that we would be traveling 3 hours to see it he responded with, I’ll make sure it’s ready. Drew did text us while we were in transit and told us he might be held up with another appointment and gave us a name of who could help us. When we arrived we were handed off to several salesmen until we ended up with Sam. We briefly discussed what we were looking for and the trailer that we saw online. Sam took us out to the lot and as we were looking for the trailer he said, I hope it’s not that one, I think I know where it is. The trailer was located in the back of the lot near a dumpster. Upon arrival we could tell it did not match the pictures online because it had a totally different door. He let us in and it was total disaster. The wallpaper that was left on the walls was peeling off all of the cushions and mattress were torn. All of the cabinets were damaged, few things actually worked. Sam agreed that it was in really rough shape. We informed him that this trailer was not representative of the pictures and video that were advertised with it. After making a couple of excuses he said that he would let his boss know. As of today it is still being falsely advertised. I would never recommend buying anything from them! We have chosen to spend our money elsewhere.
