SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Jennifer V, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her. She has such a kind, warm presence that immediately puts you at ease. I came in needing help with something small—changing the battery in my keyless entry—but the way she showed up meant so much more than the task itself. Jennifer was patient, gentle, and genuinely caring. Sometimes you just need good energy around you, and she brought exactly that. Her spirit is beautiful, and it shines through in how she treats people. Thank you, Jennifer, for your help and your kindness—it didn’t go unnoticed. 💛

Typical AutoZone. Every time I have gone to this location, they have had what I needed. No issues in that regard. However, the parking lot and landscaping are littered with trash. I'm sure some of it originates from the Wal-Mart parking lot, but would it really be that difficult to have an employee walk the premises daily to pick up trash?

My wife just left the Wells location and said the manager treated very bad. Snapped at her from behind the counter while she was in line. Talked down to her about different pricing of brake pads and claimed they don't carry spark plugs for her Kia K5. She said never mind and walked out. She had purchased a battery two day ago and the employee had to fight with the manager to replace it for her. I don't know the managers name but she was rude to my wife. Kuddos to the employee for standing up to her. She went to the O'Reiley's instead and they were very nice. Never again Autozone!

Jen tested and changed my battery on my car a couple weeks ago. She went above and beyond to make sure I wouldn’t have to return for related issues. It’s already been 90+ degrees here in AZ. Jen was lovely. Thank you mamas! Thanks to Jose as well for the assist on changing my stubborn windshield wipers.
