SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

I went for a diagnostic and the team was really nice, however now very thorough. The gentleman ran the scanner on my car it and only popped up one error code, which caused some concern because the error code that popped up is usually accompanied by multiple different codes. When I mentioned that amd ask uf he checked specific things he told me thats all the error codes and I need to take my car to the mechanic. In addition to that, I asked him to test my battery and he wouldn't do it because he "couldn't reach both the terminals" I ended up going to O'Rileys and not only did they pull up the multiple codes, he was able to connect and test my battery also. So. If you have a choice, I would go to O'Rileys.

Rude staff would not recommend coming to this place the other autozone on Maricopa rd is better than this one. This location will treat you terribly. My mother spoke to someone earlier on the phone for a replacement on a part. When she wanted to see if it was ready she called and they left her on hold for a long time and kept leaving her on the line and not answering her question. The supposed manager snapped at her and said that they do not place replacements without payment which is not the issue. What the issue is is that an employee wrongfully told information and when my mom tried to resolve the issue the manager and two other employees were rude and disrespectful towards her and did not help with the issue. Resulting my mother to go down the road to the other location where I guess she should have gone in the first place. That “manager” if you can call him that should be fired for his ignorance and rudeness. Also after further review of other reviews it seems like this auto zone has an issue with employees and managers being rude to women. They clearly have yet to resolve the issue.
