Went to this location because the other location in town, the one by walmart, sent me for a part they didn't have, nbd, but the guy in there Gerald talks to people completely wrong, condescending, time wasting, seemed like he didn't want me to buy that part or be helpful at all. I'm sure he is bitter and lonely outside of work and brings it in with him. Not only that but i heard another employee telling a guest "I'm not a mechanic" in an irritated tone, when it sounded like they were asking a question about a fluid I'm sure their computers could answer. I will not be back to any autozone ever, and will try my best to spread the word to not waste your time at this over crowded, miserably staffed location. Save yourself the bad day and go to an O'riellys.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Above & Beyond Customer Service at AutoZone!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at AutoZone today! What started as an absolute nightmare on the road turned into one of those unexpectedly great experiences that reminds you there are still genuinely good people out there.
My car had decided it no longer wanted to cooperate. Every time I came to a stop, it would die, and then my check engine light came on. You can only imagine how much fun I was having driving from Phoenix to Maricopa on Highway 347, surrounded by heavy traffic, while simultaneously trying to brake with my LEFT foot and keep my RIGHT foot on the gas just enough to keep my car from dying. 😂 Let’s just say it was an adventure I would not recommend!
I had initially stopped at another local auto parts store, where I was quoted nearly double what AutoZone was charging for the exact same parts. On top of that, the customer service experience there was less than impressive.
Then I walked into AutoZone—and what a difference!
From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with friendly faces and genuinely welcoming people. I overheard one of the ladies behind the counter say, “Look at that chubby baby face,” as she looked at her phone. Naturally, I had to comment, “I like chubby baby faces too!” 😂
That sparked a conversation, and she told me she was just six weeks away from her due date and even showed me a sonogram picture of her little boy. We chatted for a few minutes, she looked up the part I needed, and just to be safe, she wanted to have my car scanned to see exactly what codes were coming up.
That’s when DLO, the store manager, stepped up and said he would take care of it.
I walked outside with him and proceeded to tell him about my absolutely thrilling drive home and my new-found talent of driving with two feet just to keep my car alive on 347. 😂 He hooked up the diagnostic machine, pulled the codes, and patiently explained what was going on. We continued chatting, laughing, and somehow managed to turn what had been a VERY stressful day into a much brighter one.
And, of course, I continued sharing my fabulous sense of humor with the employees and managed to make a few of them chuckle along the way. After all, everybody needs a little laughter in their life! 😂
What really struck me about this AutoZone was the atmosphere. Being in that store reminded me of growing up in a small town where you could walk into a business and everybody knew everybody. You didn’t feel like just another customer—you felt like family.
That is exactly the feeling I got here.
DLO went above and beyond to help me. He made sure I got the correct parts, helped diagnose the problem, answered my questions, and never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely seemed to care about helping people.
I even asked DLO if it was “buy one, get one free day.” 😂 He told me no—but apparently they DID have a great deal on brake cleaner. So, if anybody needs brake cleaner… RUN, don’t walk, to your local AutoZone! 😂😂
Seriously though, thank you to the entire AutoZone team for taking what could have been a horrible experience and turning it into a bright spot in my day.
Phenomenal customer service. Knowledgeable staff. Great attitudes. Fair prices. Genuine kindness. And a manager who actually takes the time to help.
DLO and the AutoZone team—thank you for making a stressful situation a whole lot easier and a LOT more entertaining.

I walked in needing parts for a car that was trying to kill me on Highway 347… and walked out feeling like I had just visited my hometown neighborhood store. ❤️😂
