Yoshi and the team of technicians did a marvelous job of servicing our little Honda! Recommended, but didn’t hype, service needs and suggestions. Identified and applied every coupon and discount combo to help get us up-to-date on all of our service bullet points so we can get many more years out of our car!
I visited [Brakes Plus] to have my brakes and rotors replaced, and the initial service took over six hours. A few weeks later, I had to return because my brakes were shaking badly every time I slowed down. I was then told the rotors—installed by this same location—were “warped.”
During that second visit, I also asked them to check my A/C because I heard a hissing noise. A few hours later, I received a call stating my car was ready, but I was told I needed a $1,500 air‑compressor replacement due to a supposed freon leak. I declined and decided to get a second opinion.
That second opinion revealed that all my car needed was freon, not a new compressor.
This experience left me feeling that customers who don’t have extensive car knowledge could easily be misled into paying for unnecessary repairs. Trust is essential when dealing with automotive service, and unfortunately, this location did not meet my expectations.

In mid April, I had an issue with brakes that were installed (not at a shop) that resulted in a squealing noise. It ended up that the person who applied the anti-squeal clips onto the vehicle (aka me haha) was a little rough, and ended up having part of the clip rub against the rotor. After a long afternoon of working on concrete, dealing with some partially seized screws and, my body was aching and I did not want to repeat the process again. I made an appointment to have it looked over and they confirmed it was indeed the anti-squeal clip application that was the issue. One of their front desk reps, Yoshi (yup, awesome name), was both welcoming and accommodating, and gave me a break on the price after all that I've been through. Their tech made sure all was right with the brake pads, rotors, and new anti-squeal clips, lubricated all necessary parts, and sent me on my way. We all had a good laugh at the situation, what's life without both acknowledging and finding humor in your own failures? haha. Thanks again for the warm, friendly service, I will definitely come back in the future when I have another concern
Today my technician was Yoshi. He was very kind and professional. My service was provided in a timely manner. He possessed excellent customer service skills. Restroom available. No code required to enter the door which is by the way bothersome. I would recommend this Brakes Plus location to anyone in search of oil change, brakes, struts, or any other service needed to maintain your vehicle. Thank you brakes Plus for hiring such a remarkable staff.

Took my car in March 20th at 8:00 AM for an AC problem and left with a $2,700 tab because they broke my radiator while my car was in their care, so the original price I was planning to pay doubled! Multiple workers confirmed verbally that when I brought my car in there was no leak. I have picture proof of my driveway, I obviously won’t be posting publicly, that shows there was no sign of a leak where I park either. In fact, never had a leak issue since owning my car until it came here. Yes I paid for the damage THEY did and the price was still $2,700 after a petty discount, so I am 100% valid for reporting what happened. On top of that, I was told my car would be ready at before my kids got out of school, called to check on my car and was told that they were just starting around noonish because they had to make sure everything was okay and they had the parts (no report of radiator being broken at this time, further confirming NO issues). About 30-45 minutes later, received a call saying my radiator was broken, and they offered to PATCH it while it was pouring out fluid (offering to patch a huge mistake they made is not only extremely dangerous, it’s unprofessional). 27 hours after drop off, around 11 AM, I got my car back.
It doesn’t stop there! I left and noticed I just paid thousands of dollars and my AC was barely coming out, even on full blast. I gave it a few days, still nothing. Took it to another location and the store manager Hector looked and confirmed that my AC was not properly functioning. He fixed it and also noticed that they didn’t change the filter while doing the AC, proof posted it was disgusting.
Moral of the story, don’t come here unless you’re ready to spend a bunch of extra money for them to fix their mistake, feel like jeopardizing your safety, or have time to go back and forth to the shop.
