  I don’t give out praise lightly, but Ira at Brakes Plus absolutely earned mine! What impressed me most wasn’t simply the work that needed to be done—it was the integrity, care, and genuine pride Ira took in making sure my vehicle was taken care of properly. He went far beyond what I expected! I was also dealing with an A/C issue that another shop had completely botched. It wasn’t Brakes Plus’s problem to fix, but Ira took the time to figure out what had gone wrong and correct someone else’s work! He didn’t have to go that extra mile—he chose to. And that speaks volumes about the kind of person he is and the level of service he provides. It’s easy to find someone who will work on your car. It’s much harder to find someone you genuinely trust with it. Ira earned that trust! His professionalism, knowledge, integrity, and willingness to go above and beyond deserve to be recognized! Brakes Plus is fortunate to have someone who represents their business this well! Guillermo is also a huge asset and an absolute pleasure to do business with! Ira & Guillermo, thank you!   Brakes Plus on 67th and Bell has been a great experience every time I’ve taken my vehicles, from oil changes, to radiator work, to electrical switch work they’ve been professional, quick with the repair and reasonably priced …. Specifically, Ira who I’ve worked with is knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and comes across as always having the customer at heart. He and the team do great work, keep it up! Gabe

  I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with this shop has been extremely frustrating. What started as a low-boost issue turned into an almost 2-month-long ordeal. I later brought my vehicle in because it had an oil leak. The shop replaced the PCV valve, but the leak continued. They then replaced an oil gasket and charged me around $700, but the leak still wasn’t fixed. They then replaced the rear main line, and the leak still continued. I brought the vehicle back again, and I’ve now been without it for approximately 3 weeks on this visit, despite originally being told the repair would take around 2 days. Throughout this entire process, I’ve repeatedly been told someone would call me back, only to have to chase the shop myself for updates. When i called a week later they told me that they havn’t even started my vehicle. Then i keep calling saying ima get a call back. Nothing… The most frustrating part is that I was specifically told that after the vehicle was put back together, it stopped starting. My vehicle was operational when I brought it in. They sent it to another store and they got it working again but now the new shop is saying that the rear main seal is still leaking. So 2 plus weeks of having my car they didnt even fix the main problem This has completely disrupted my transportation. I’ve already contacted corporate because this situation has gone far beyond what I consider reasonable. Almost two months, multiple repairs, hundreds of dollars spent, a continuing oil leak that they somehow are incapable of fixing. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience, highly do not recommend this location

  Went to this shop for front brake job, and in true form fashion I received a call saying my rear brake rotors were bad and too thin. However, they didn't know that those had been changed out a year prior. So they basically tried to pad the bill but I didn't fall for it. The work seems.fune and staff were friendly.

  Had an appointment at 12:00pm. They're telling me it's like a 5-hour wait. No thanks. I drove down the street a little and saw a Midas and Rob took me in right away even though they were fully booked for the day. They drove my bimmer into the bay and took care of it took care of it right away. They even installed a headlight bulb I purchase at AutoZone free of charge. In and out fast with no appointment. I will be returning back to Midas to see Rob to get my struts done as well. Brake Plus do better.
