I have stayed at this Pilot from time to time over the years and have never formed much of an opinion one way or another. The store seems clean and fairly well looked after. I have noticed the employees can be a little bit disinterested when dealing with the customers. I don't expect a huge smile and a slap on the back but a simple acknowledgement when I'm standing right in front of you at your register might be in order. I did have an extra special adventure last night I'm still marveling about today. I made the mistake of parking beside an actual stall. I arrived at 5 pm, had dinner and went to bed. At 11:30 I awoke to someone hammering for all they were worth on the side of my tractor. I acknowledged the person and said I'd be right out (had to get dressed). Within 3 seconds the person was hammering again, this time on the door (it appears they were working their way forward). I got outside walked up to a pair of employees standing in front of a tractor down a bit from mine and asked "What's up?" (My exact words). Without even bothering to look at me one of the two said "All these trucks gotta move or we'll call the police." (His exact words). Now I get I wasn't in a proper stall and I get I had to move. I have no complaint with that. What I do have a complaint with is how I was approached. I would have moved without argument but a little common courtesy would have made the whole experience much more palatable. Something along the lines of "Hey, you can't park here. You're gonna have to move." would have been appreciated. Also, while you are at it, maybe don't beat on my truck as hard as you can. Further, maybe give me 5 or six seconds before you repeat your show of strength. I get it, you're the boss and you have every right to get me to move (private property and all). Maybe just don't be such a jerk about it.

Они ждут, чтобы ты запарковался, а потом будят. Я стал максимально безопастно. Парни, я исключаю вас

Very busy. The staff does a great job keeping up with the conditions. Had a chorizo burrito, egg with one jalapeño. Lot's of other choices for food. Shower is really busy. Young man doing an awesome job keeping up with demand.

This is a decent place to stop other than the fact that all the locals think it's okay to park in the back where the semi trucks park and take up spaces that are meant for commercial vehicles. I tried nicely to tell someone that they're not supposed to be parked back here and these people were in their 50s and they started running their mouths trying to talk like gangsters saying will park wherever the hell we want this is our town. We work 14 to 16 hours a day as truck drivers we do not want to pull into a truck stop and not be able to park because a person thought it was okay to park their car there to go inside and sit down and eat. There's a parking lot in the front of the store that is meant for non-commercial vehicles. There are truck drivers out there that aren't so nice that would have no problem backing into your car and then taking off, so keep that in mind when parking in commercial vehicle areas.
