Excellent service! Cannot recommend Red’s highly enough! Dropped in without notice while on a road trip passing through after the engine light came on (road tripper’s worst nightmare) and the Red’d staff jumped in to help run diagnostics on my diesel van and were incredibly helpful in answering all my questions, troubleshooting, and offering advice on different solutions. The staff at reception were also super friendly and helpful while waiting on my vehicle. Would stop here again and wish we were local to keep giving our business to this incredible team!

Please read this before you consider doing business with Jonathan (the owner) at Red's Diesel.
I brought my truck to Red's Diesel Repair to replace the front seal. Johnathan called me a day later and told me I also needed a new water pump. I gave him the go-ahead to replace it. He said it would be ready by the end of the day.
He didn't call at the end of the day, and I though ,"No big deal. Maybe he got backed up." The following morning I called Jonathan for an update. He told me he had some bad news.
He informed me that after his son made the repairs to my truck, he forgot to replace the oil (I left them 3 gallons and a filter) and locked up my motor. He told me he had ordered a new motor and that they would install it as soon as they got it in.
Fast forward 2 ½ weeks later. I went to pick up my truck from Jonathan. I asked if it was a new motor or a remanufactured motor. He told me it was a remanufactured motor. I asked him for paperwork for the reman motor, to which he replied ,"There isn't any." I paid him $1100 for the original repairs.
I drove my truck home and discovered it was leaking oil in 2 places and the motor he installed had substantial blow-by (which he calls "steam"). I took the truck back to him the following morning for repairs and addressed my findings with him. I again asked Jonathan for paperwork. He said there was no paperwork for the motor, but he could print me an invoice showing the scope of work he performed along with a warranty.
The following morning I went to pick up my truck. He seemed to fix the oil leaks, but there was still blow-by, which he claimed was normal. He gave me an invoice showing "a" motor on it, but no scope of work and one sentence at the bottom that defined the warranty as 12 months/12,000 miles. He also admitted to using parts of my old motor.
I asked for a third time for paperwork. He refused again and told me I was being "difficult". He became extremely irritated and defensive. He began shouting at me and told me to never come back.
Now, my truck is leaking fuel. There's a lot more to this story, but this is the meat of it. I believe Johnathan gave me a junkyard motor. He will not give me any information on where the motor he installed came from.
If Jonathan denies the credibility of this review, I have every interaction with him recorded, and would be happy to share with anyone interested.
I would not recommend Jonathan and his shop, Red's Diesel Repair, to anyone under any circumstance.
