  ​​BEWARE: Unsafe "Hack Job" Repairs & Refusal to Take Responsibility ​I brought my 2010 Toyota Prius to Phoenix Avenue Tire and Auto in Fort Smith, paying nearly $1,400 for what was supposed to be professional repair work (including an EGR cooler replacement). ​When my vehicle was independently evaluated by a new mechanic shortly after, we discovered horrifyingly substandard work: the shop installed an ill-fitting aftermarket EGR cooler, rigged it into place using a stack of copper washers to bridge the gap, and left coolant sprayed all over the entire engine bay from rushing and ripping off hoses. I have full video and photo proof documenting the entire mess. ​When I first raised concerns, the owner, Tyler Casteel, repeatedly used "doctor analogies" to dodge responsibility and minimize the issue. Yet, the moment I sent direct photo evidence of their rigged, unsafe work, the quick replies completely stopped. ​Their shop slogan claims "Reputation Is More Important Than Location," but their actual work and ghosting tell a very different story. Check the photo and video receipts before you ever trust this shop with your vehicle or your safety.

  Recently my daughter's life was put into turmoil with a straight forward oil drain & refill with no oil being added back into the engine causing a lock up & lost engine. Ownership promised a replacement engine then changed a decision to let the insurance take care of it. Savannah was coerced into accepting a low ball settlement which has now left her without a job & auto. Is this your business model to promise & then go back on your word. Have you followed up with her ?. She trusted you !!.

  I took my car into the shop to get brakes changed because the brakes were going bad as soon as I took off I noticed a metal clumping sound so I called them and see what was going on they gave me some bullshit lie saying there was rocks inside a panel that was causing the noise they said they removed the rocks but the noise is still there and getting worse so now I’ll have to replace the brakes and the rooter now because of Phoenix tire n auto I would not recommend anyone going there they don’t know what there doing they will damage your brakes to cause more issues so they can get more money and one thing they didn’t tighten down the lug nuts so not a good place to get work done
