  Coltin got me in quickly to do some intensive brake work on a 50 year old jeep. New brake lines, rebuilt rear drum brakes, etc. Also fixed a couple other things he and his guys noticed. I was back on the road in no time. Price was very fair, especially for a vehicle most don’t want to mess with. Will be back with my other vehicle if/when work is needed.

  I had taken my Prius to a dealership and asked them to tell me everything that was wrong with my engine. They told me what I already knew--this make and model just has crummy pistons. They recommended an engine "overhaul" for about $5K. The overhaul replaces the crummy pistons, but not the damaged cylinders. So, I found Phoenix Avenue Tire and Auto on the internet. For the same price that I paid the dealership for an evaluation, they did a chemical cleanse of the pistons and helped me put together a long term course of action to hopefully keep the car running for many more years, including what maintenance I should be doing and what it's going to cost for a rebuilt or new engine and new EV batteries when the time comes, so that I can make informed decisions.
