I literally watched the brushes spinning next to my car, but not touching my car. It basically sprays water and soap, ensures that there’s lots of movement around you so that you feel like your car is getting washed, but then ultimately just randomly drags cloth over the top of your car. $16 for something that you will ultimately have to wash yourself anyway just seems like a poor business model. I let them know that it did not get it clean, and they offered me a second wash, but even two passes through still left half of my hood completely untouched.

It wasn't even especially dirty, just typical commuter dirty--no dirt roads or anything. I could see there still being some stains in nooks and crannies but on the front, back and side panels? Better off to spend $10 for a bucket and sponge.
