  The five-star max rating for the experience I had late this morning at this Bentonville AutoZone location, truly doesn't reflect the absolutely AMAZING in-store service I received.... I have an at times difficult/unique vehicle that I have been working on myself, and I'm certainly not a mechanic but I'm smart enough I've been able to do a lot of maintenance learning as I've gone. I ALWAYS encounter impatient and sarcastic "teenagers" working at the O'Reilly Auto Parts store near me in Bella Vista... Which quite honestly, in today's world.... It's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get any sort of customer service...much less actual help anywhere for anything so I just expect it now when I need to get parts or supplies for the car. When I walked into the AutoZone today though, I was INSTANTLY and PLEASANTLY greeted by a professional Man named Jacob... and to say that the entire experience from greeting to leaving the parking lot working with Jacob was VERY different from the almost 2 years of dealing O'Reilly Auto Parts... Would be a MASSIVE understatement! Jacob allowed me to ask every possible question that I had regarding the issue with my vehicle, answering every single question sincerely and patiently, even at times allowing me to ask very basic novice questions which he explained in detail at a remedial level that gave me confidence in the possible fixes for what was going on! He even humoured my request to come out and visually inspect the engine to give me a few thoughts on specific components I wanted to replace while doing this next repair all the while absolutely NEVER making me feel ignorant or rushed in ANY way. What a total 180° from the awful previous experiences! That wasn't even the MOST impressive part of the time I worked with Jacob......As someone who has recently been able to retire early from being a Sales Professional/Manager for nearly 25 years, I have seen a little bit of everything in working with customers.... I probably was in store for over 30 minutes with Jacob and until we were ringing up everything I purchased.... I had ABSOLUTELY ZERO clue that Jacob was apparently this locations Store Manager! In my experience professionally it's pretty typical nowadays that people who are in positions of authority are often boastful and borderline arrogant about having a managerial title on their name tag.... I took up quite a bit of Jacob's time today and never once did I feel like he was too busy to spend that much of his time helping me, or that he was somehow "above" helping a customer himself instead of passing me off to anyone on his staff! I also did a little background in hopes of letting corporate know about what an AWESOME asset Jacob was to AutoZone,and in the process I was informed that Jacob was relatively new to being the Manager at the Bentonville location..... WHOEVER PROMOTED, HIRED, RECRUITED JACOB....YOU FOUND AN ABSOLUTE ROCKSTAR AND AND HUGE ASSET/EXAMPLE OF WHAT LEADERSHIP SHOULD BE IN A RETAIL SETTING! I don't remember the last time I truly wanted to recognize anyone for something so POSITIVE.... Usually I have to share miserable completely unprofessional feedback in hopes of someone avoiding whatever I went through... But Jacob ABSOLUTELY deserves the recognition today! I will make the 35 minute drive each way to that AutoZone for absolutely ALL of my vehicle needs as long as I live in NW Arkansas.... To HELL with O'Reilly Auto Parts.... Jacob made me and my family.... AN AUTOZONE CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

  AutoZone has always been a staple for me. They are so helpful. They don't charge for things like replacing your old battery right their in the parking lot, or windshield wipers, or bulbs, things like that. That's good helpful service!

  I had my battery replaced elsewhere yesterday, and afterward my A/C, dashboard, and basically everything decided to stop working. I went back and was told I’d need to take it to a mechanic. So today, on a Sunday, I stopped at AutoZone. After I dramatically complained about the very real possibility of dying of heat stroke, the three gentlemen working took a look and did all the things. Thirty minutes later, everything was working perfectly again. And while they were fixing my car, they also charged my phone — so obviously, bonus points. 10/10 customer service. They’ve gained a lifelong customer, whether they like it or not.

  I just have to give a huge shoutout to David and Tucker!! Thank you guys for being so helpful and explaining everything in layman's terms. Experiences like this is why I continue to come to Autozone for me vehicle needs.
