  The Sylacauga office staff are professional and helpful. One location ran out of cars and these guys really saved the day.

  Worst experience I’ve ever had with Enterprise was 8/20/26 at the Sylacauga, AL location under the current management they have in place. I made a reservation for a large SUV ten days prior to the date I needed it on 8/10/26. Was called the following day 8/11/26 to verify that I had a major credit card, ( a requirement for renting a large suv), so no problem there. I confirmed I did have a major credit card and while I had them on the phone I told them I needed them to be sure they’d have me a large suv on 8/20. I know they don’t guarantee make or model but the branch manager assured me he’d have the car class ( large suv) there on my designated pickup date. Fast forward to 8/20/26 the date I was supposed to pickup the rental, my wife shows up before our reserved pickup time of 12pm only to find out that they don’t have the large suv we reserved. The lady running the counter was being rude and unhelpful, she then proceeded to tell my wife that the branch manger had spoken to me the day before and said I agreed to a smaller suv which she offered. That in itself is a lie because a small suv would not accommodate our party and no one called me from Enterprise the day before. There was a Tahoe in the back that she said a customer already had the keys to, which I think it was being held for another customer for whatever reason. The said branch manager was supposedly out of the office attending a meeting and was unable to reached so I could call him out on his lie. Since I couldn’t get in touch with him I asked for the corporate number to file a complaint and have yet to hear back from them. I received no follow up about the reservation or the vehicle I reserved not being available from the branch manager or corporate. This ordeal made me 3 hrs behind on my trip. I’ve been renting from Enterprise for over 20 years and this is the treatment I get, thanks Enterprise! You’ve lost yourself a loyal customer.

  I was renting car due to my vehicle getting fixed. I requested a sedan but when I got there, I was upgraded to a small SUV that small SUV The next day had mechanical issues And I missed a very important meeting. When I reached out to them I could not get a hold of anyone and I had to get my parents to go to the actual store and tell them to call me because they are closed for an hour for lunch when I did get in touch with someone. The only thing they had available was a minivan. The young lady told me that I could take the minivan to the nearest enterprise and swap it out for a regular sedan not only did I hear her say this, but my mother did as well. She also stated that she would call And make sure I can swap it out when I got there she had not done anything. She said she would do. I myself had to call the nearest enterprise and when I did call them, they said that they did not have any vehicles either. It was completely poor customer service all the way around I do not ask for the upgrade. This is the third year in a row. I have had issues with enterprise from either not having a vehicle that I asked for to mechanical issues you would think if you are renting from them that they would make sure that the vehicle is in proper running condition and service as well. I actually end up turning the vehicle that they put me in in early. The area manager was supposed to reach out to me and I never heard anything from him when I did return the vehicle a young lady named Denise was more helpful than the actual employee that works there. The employee should not be assuring you something that they are not sure of.

  This is a warning to whoever leaves their own vehicle in the parking lot while they rent a vehicle. Although Enterprise has no liabilty for anything that happens to your vehicle left in the parking lot, an employee indicated lots of people leave their vehicle with no issues. My Ram 1500 had the catalytic converter sawed off while parked at this location. Park at your own risk!
