Mack went above and beyond to assist me with a last minute tire issue. I honestly would be stranded without these guys! No other tire shop was available same day for my personal situation. Also it was near close and they made it happen! Highly recommend this location!!

NICK & CHRIS PARKER... THIS IS FOR YOU TWO!!!
Car broke down on 8/18/26 and I ended up having to get a new battery. On 8/19/26 there seemed to still be a little hesitation (that could have been in my mind), so for my own peace of mind, I wanted to have my alternator checked. I stopped at O'reilly in Spanish Fort, and they told me the alternator was bad. I went down the street to Mavis to have it replaced. This is when I met Nick. I explained the situation, and he immediately empathized with me, and told me it would be ok. He also told me he wanted to test my vehicle on their equipment, and explained why. I went ahead and got prices for an alternator and starter, so that I could be mentally and financially prepared. Nick kept me updated on when they were about to look at my car. A while later, I saw the mechanic (Chris Parker) go to my car and hook the machine up. He was in and out several times. He then called Nick out, and I saw them communicating. They then went and got another machine, and repeated the same cycle. I was so scared that the problems were just growing. Then Nick came in and said, "well (my stomach sank), I have good news. Your alternator is good. Your started is good. Your battery is just a little weak, but we couldn't find anything wrong". I almost passed out from relief. They very well could've just started replacing stuff just to make money, but they were honest and compassionate, and THAT will pay off in the long run! I can look at Chris Parker and tell that he's an "old school" mechanic who doesn't rely solely on machines to tell him when something is wrong, and he troubleshoots when something doesn't make sense to him. So hats off, and FIVE STARS to these two men. You have a new customer at THIS location!

My daughter and I blew a tire on our way home to Georgia. The crew there on Sunday were the absolute best! They unfortunately could not fix our tire but definitely gave us the best advice on how to get it done. I am so grateful for their service and would definitely tell anyone having an issue to go there. Thanks again guys for your kindness and all the help you gave us!!! We ended up making it home safe and it was definitely because of the advice we were given at this location.

I cannot recommend Mavis Tire enough! Nick took great care of us. He was kind and extremely fast. We needed a tire patched while traveling home from the beach, and he got us back on the road in less than 30 minutes. We are extremely grateful and highly recommend Nick at Mavis Tires & Brakes!
