  Chemical, Brayden, and Chelsey were amazing! I made an appointment online and Jermichael called me immediately to confirm but also took the liberty of communicating a short wait time if I was able to bring my car in earlier. Chelsey was attentive to customer needs in the waiting area. The best of the group Brayden took the time to explain the work needed and his suggestions for service.

  I just left Mavis at the Pike Road, AL location and I am VERY disappointed for the first time in YEARS!! We are a Gold Star family, and I have always looked to Mavis to assist with my cars and even my children's cars as they became old enough to drive and have their own vehicles, since my husband's death. I have always been treated with honesty and respect and was provided good customer service at previous Mavis Tire services. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars purchasing full sets of tires and other services with Mavis Tire locations. I USED TO recommend Mavis Tires to friends and other family, until today. I even told another woman who asked me about the service at this location while I was standing in line, and told her that I had a good experience the last time I was there... What happened, you may ask?? I called a day ahead of time to inquire if AC Diagnostic services were offered at this location. After speaking with Tyler, he said yes, and even mentioned that it was best to schedule an appointment and that his AC Technician would be in today (Saturday). After waiting for an hour, I asked about the status of when my vehicle would be pulled back, because it was still sitting in the parking space. So I notified him that I would be leaving and coming back. He said he would notify me once the car was looked at. Two hours later, I called to get an update... I was told they would be pulling it into the bay. So after not hearing anything else, I decided to return to the location, and it was sitting in the bay, but Tyler tells me the AC Technician STILL has not even looked at my vehicle...SINCE AN̈ 8 a.m. APPOINTMENT!! AND NOW IT'S 2 P.M.... I am not sure if it's because I am a female....but I can't help but to wonder... I just asked Tyler to give me my keys and an he gives an "I'm sorry." As if it would be ok... NO communication ALL DAY... EVEN with an appointment.... I contacted customer service, and asked if the Regional Manager, Shane could contact me on Monday. TIME IS A PRECIOUS COMMODITY, AND SHOULD NOT BE DISREGARDED BY STAFF!! HONEST communication would have made this a whole different review!! And I hardly give reviews!! After this incident, I would not recommend this location to any friends and family in the Montgomery/Pike Road area!

  Tyler and staff helped my mother out today. My mother thought a stick was underneath the car and dragging on the ground. Both men were very helpful and explained that a piece of plastic under the motor was loose due to a fastener missing. They replaced the bolt and had everything back in place. I appreciate you both for being so polite and helping my mother out. Will definitely use your business in the future!

  I really wanted to have a good experience with this location because it is in Pike Road and close to my home. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning. I scheduled a 9:00 a.m. oil change appointment online. When I arrived, I declined the tire rotation because my tires were brand new, but specifically requested a brake inspection and alignment check. At 9:40, my car still had not been moved. After I went to the counter and asked about the delay, they took it back and finished around 10:35. I was told my brakes were fine, although the wheels were never removed, which left me questioning how thoroughly they were inspected. I also learned that the alignment check I requested had not been done. They offered to do it then, but after already waiting approximately an hour and a half, I needed to leave. I drove less than a mile home. About an hour later, as my family and I were going out, my dashboard displayed “Engine Oil Low — Add Oil.” I immediately returned to the shop. After checking the oil, they told me they were going to redo the oil change, requiring me to wait again and further disrupting my day. When they finished, I asked what had happened and was only told that it was “their mistake” and had been corrected. It wasn't until another employee apologized as I was walking to my car that I finally learned the correct amount of oil had not been put in my car during the original oil change. That is extremely concerning. An oil change is one of the most routine services performed on a vehicle, yet driving without the proper amount of oil can potentially cause serious engine damage. I drive frequently and travel, and had that warning not appeared when it did, I could have continued driving without knowing my vehicle did not have the proper amount of oil. If I cannot have confidence that a basic oil change will be performed correctly, I cannot have confidence in returning for other services. What made the experience worse was how lightly the situation seemed to be treated. I never felt that the inconvenience or seriousness of the situation was genuinely acknowledged. As I was leaving, I was even told, “Come back to see us.” Mistakes happen, but how a business responds matters. Between the delayed appointment, requested services not being completed or leaving me with questions, the incorrect amount of oil being put in my vehicle, having to return for a second oil change, and the way the situation was handled afterward, I no longer have confidence in having my vehicle serviced here and will not be returning.

  I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Mavis. My experience has been horrible overall. Started with a 12:00 appointment at the store on Vaughn Road where the guy basically refused to service me due to the price quoted to me when I called in. I waited 40 minutes in the lobby while he went back and forth on the phone about the price. The guy was rude and shaking his head back and forth and basically telling me they couldn’t do it for that price even after the manager called and told him that the price was correct. I had to call in tow customer service twice to explain what was happening and finally asked to be transferred to a different store. They Sent me to the one in Pike Road. The store staff were friendlier and nice. I dropped my car at 12:45 and my car didn’t get ready til 5pm. All I needed was 4 new tires. The guys were standing around not doing anything. Just laughing and talking. At one point they all disappeared. I didn’t see anyone. Then the guy who was supposed to be working on my car started helping another worker change out tires on another car. Who needs help putting on tires???? Not to mention it was only my Car and another car there and it took 4 hours to change tires. I missed all my appointments that I had planned for today all because Mavis took half a day changing tires. It was ridiculous. My first and last time ever coming here. I will never be back. If I could give them zero stars I would.
