  At first glance the placement of the nail looked like I needed a new tire, but Bobby took a second look and was able to plug it, saving me a ton of money. I extra appreciate that he could have taken advantage of my ignorance but didn't. Thanks Bobby!

  Brought my vehicle in for a tire that was slowly leaking. They took it back immediately and had me out within 30 minutes. Incredibly helpful and fast staff. I will be using these guys for all my tire needs. Thank you!!

  It’s a sick feeling driving and noticing a tire pressure warning has popped up on your dashboard. But, the sick feeling dissipates quickly when you see a Mavis Tire store within 1/2 mile up the road. As loyal customers at the Memorial Pkwy location, we immediately knew we would have good service at the Hampton Cove location. However, we did not anticipate the following exceptional service: 1- Bobby greeted my husband at the front entrance, just like family would. 2- He immediately came to the car and said he would put it on the rack. 3- We went inside to wait and noticed he had left his partially eaten lunch to assist us. 4- He communicated two different updates to let us know the status. 5- When nothing else explained the 29# pressure in a required 35# tire, he took the tire to the dip tank. There he found an approximate 1 1/2-inch construction staple that was not visible otherwise. 6- He patched it and sent us on our way. He also took care of two other customers that walked in while we were there. In a time when finding proficient employees is a challenge, I’m sure Mavis recognizes they have an outstanding Representative within their ranks and will treat him well.

  Pulling into my driveway, my tire pressure light came on at 29 (supposed to be 36). I called Mavis to see if they had time to work on it and the guy said yes. I drove over and they took my van right in. There was nothing in the tire but there was a slit they were able to patch. Bobby took care of us. Quick service when I needed it! And I was out in time to get my kids to all their activities!

  After making appointment and confirming tires were in stock, I arrived only to have the manager tell me the appointment was for alignment only and that they didn't have my tires in stock. I called corporate and they had to call the manager to tell him he did indeed have my tires. When I asked about a warranty claim on back tires he walked out on me twice. I had to again call corporate to make a claim on my back tires. I told the manager he didn't have to do the alignment if he didn't have time. He told me he had time but he never did the alignment. He later tried to charge me for the alignment anyway. He even lied when he removed it from my bill saying it wasn't the alignment he removed. He was rude, uncooperative and unwilling to do any thing for me without me calling corporate and them having to call him. He tried to deny me my tread warranty because I didn't have road hazard coverage, thankfully the man from corporate corrected him that a tread milage warranty has nothing to do with road hazard insurance. I will be using the Mavis in Scottsboro for now own. I hope corporate replaces Bobby so Owens Crossroads location can have better managment.
