  Went in because my air wasn't blowing cold....it was hot!!! Rodney was very courteous and professional. Car was serviced in a timely manner and the air is freezing cold!!! Great professional, timely service!

  The guys at Mavis Tires took excellent care of my car.. I needed 4 tires,Rodney and his team were exceptional at getting the work completed and putting me at ease. I will definitely be back and will be sending all my family and friends to shop at Mavis and ask for Rodney.. Thanks Guys

  My truck needed four new tires as they were starting to lose tread and also the wire frame inside was slowly becoming exposed to the surface. I was warned not to drive my truck with tires in such a condition and to get new tires immediately, so I was told by a repair shop that was not Mavis and they quoted me a price over $1200 for four new tires. I managed to drive my truck elsewhere to figure out what to do. I drove to Mavis across town at the Vaughn Road location for a second opinion. I was told the same thing about my tires and the mechanic showed me up close the gradual deterioration. I asked about new tires and they quoted me just over $600 for four new tires and they explained to me the tires were not only the right fit for my truck but would also serve my general everyday driving needs. When I told the mechanics the price I was quoted elsewhere they shook their heads and rolled their eyes. They installed the tires that same day and tested them before letting me drive off. I’ve had my truck for 22 years with over 450,000 miles on it so far and the tires made it feel like it was brand new once I hit the road.

  My experience at Mavis Tires on Vaughn Road in Montgomery, Alabama was by far one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I have ever had with an auto repair business. The employees were dishonest, unprofessional, and came across like con artists more interested in overcharging customers than actually repairing vehicles correctly. I brought my vehicle in expecting quality service and left with more problems than I started with. After the work was completed, my vehicle was damaged and never ran the same again. The lack of professionalism from the staff was shocking. Communication was poor, accountability was nonexistent, and every visit only created more frustration and concern about the condition of my vehicle. Instead of resolving issues, I felt like I was being taken advantage of financially while my vehicle continued to get worse. I would never recommend anyone take their vehicle to this location unless they want to be overcharged, treated disrespectfully, and risk having their vehicle damaged. There are far more trustworthy and professional repair shops in Montgomery than this Mavis Tires location. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.

  My experience with Mavis Tires on Vaughn Road in Montgomery, Alabama was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an auto repair shop. I took my vehicle in for what should have been a simple tune-up and brake job. After Mavis worked on my car, my vehicle never operated properly again. Since that visit, I have spent thousands of dollars trying to correct the issues that resulted from the work performed there. Instead of fixing my vehicle, it seemed like every visit created even more problems. These guys are con artist that overcharged me for everything! I brought my car back multiple times to address the concerns, but nothing was properly repaired. I later spoke with the regional manager, Shane, who offered to charge me half price for additional repairs and suggested that I bring my own parts. I declined because I do not believe I should have to pay anything for damage that I believe was caused by their employees. The manager at the location, Dillon, at least he stated he was the manager at the time informed me that the mechanic, Mike, never replaced the rear spark plugs because he was unable to remove the upper air intake. During another visit, I witnessed Dillon cut a hose from my vehicle and glue it back together instead of replacing it correctly. To make matters worse, the mechanic who supposedly performed the repairs was not even there when I originally brought my vehicle in. I also found the environment extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The manager, Dillon, openly displayed a Confederate flag on his vehicle parked directly in front of the business, which I found highly offensive and inappropriate for a customer-facing establishment. The employees were loud and cursing they were blairing inapropriate hip hop music with vulgar language while children were in the shop. Overall, this experience has cost me a significant amount of money, stress, and frustration. I am currently exploring legal action regarding the damages to my vehicle. I strongly encourage others to think carefully before trusting this location with their vehicle.
