The staff here have always been friendly and courteous, and I appreciate the way they treat their customers. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the brake repair.
I had the front brake pads and rotors replaced here. After the repair, the vehicle developed severe vibration when braking, and a large amount of smoke started coming from the front wheel/brake area.
I have brought the vehicle back three times for the same issue, but I have continued to be told that there is nothing wrong.
The staff are nice, but heavy smoke and severe vibration after a brake repair do not seem normal or safe to me. I hope they will thoroughly inspect the braking system, identify the actual cause, and correct the problem.
I am giving them another opportunity to resolve the issue and will update this review based on the final result.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give them a 10, I absolutely would!
I was beyond impressed with my experience at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers! My dad was so impressed that he could hardly believe the level of service we received. From the moment we arrived, Chris and his entire staff were professional, welcoming, and incredibly attentive to every detail.
They didn’t just change the oil—they took the time to thoroughly check my vehicle and explain everything with genuine care. The complete service was top-notch from beginning to end! 👏🏽What really stood out to me was the professionalism and attention to detail. Even something as simple as Chris providing a little pouch to attach my receipt showed how much he cares about the customer experience. He also explained different service options without making me feel pressured. And they’re OPEN ON SUNDAYS! 🙌🏽
Honestly, they provided a level of service that exceeded what I recently experienced at a Honda dealership, where I was disappointed by both the service and the attitudes.
Chris and his team should be the role model for other Express Oil Change locations! This is what excellent customer service looks like. I left feeling confident that my vehicle had been properly cared for—and that means a lot to me.
Thank you, Chris and team, for taking such great care of us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience with this business was extremely disappointing. What bothered me most was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation , I felt like the focus was placed on blaming the previous company I went to a month ago.
As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly explain my concerns or feel like I am being made to question what I was told or what actually happened. The way my concerns were handled left me feeling dismissed rather than respected as a paying customer.
Mistakes and problems can happen with any business. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In my experience, I did not see the level of accountability, professionalism, or customer service that I expected.
I am sharing this review based on my personal experience so that other customers can make their own informed decisions. I would strongly encourage anyone doing business here to keep detailed records, ask questions, and make sure everything discussed is documented in writing.

Honesty and integrity is alive and well at the Eastchase Shopping Center Express Oil Change in Montgomery Alabama. After looking at my oil change window sticker reminder, I decided to stop at this newly opened location and have my vehicle serviced. After Kirk pulled the dip stick and noticed the oil did not appear worn. He checked my service records and determined it was full synthetic. He showed me the dip stick and said I could get another 2000 miles before the next service because of the upgraded oil. He could have withheld that information and gone for a quick sale. Instead, Kirk went above and beyond my expectations and explained why the reminder sticker is set for the minimum 3000 miles and how some intervals can vary depending on the type of lubricants used. The fact that he verified the past service record gave me confidence in his statements. Kirk’s willingness to go the extra mile for a random customer should be recognized and commended. His attention to detail is rarely seen in modern service industries. That is what makes this interaction unique and worth a review. I have been a customer for over 10 years at several Express Oil Change locations and thanks to Kirk, I eagerly look forward to another 10. Well done!

**Beware, especially if you have an elderly family member using this location.**
My 93-year-old father needed an oil change, and since this was a new store, I thought we would give them a try. I found a $30-off coupon, scheduled the appointment online, and received both a confirmation and reminder.
Because of my father’s age and memory issues, I wanted to make sure the visit was very simple. He still drives well, but his short-term memory is not what it used to be.
When he arrived, a very friendly young lady from the store called me because there was some confusion about why he was there. I explained clearly that he 'ONLY needed an oil change'. I repeated this more than once specifically because I did not want him agreeing to additional services that he might not understand or remember. She told me she understood and that they would take care of him.
The next day, I checked his bank account expecting a charge of roughly $75. Instead, I found a charge for $270.
I immediately called the store and spoke with a supervisor. He remembered my father and was aware that the store had called me during the appointment. His explanation was that my father had agreed to the additional services.
That is exactly what I had tried to prevent with my phone call.
My father assumed that I had arranged everything and simply agreed when they suggested additional work. That is why I had been so specific with the employee that he was there for an oil change only.
The supervisor apologized and told me the manager would call me the following day and that they would “make it right.” Unfortunately, I never received a call from the manager.
To make matters worse, my father did not receive a receipt, so I still do not have a clear accounting of everything he was charged for. I know some of the additional work included things such as an air filter and cabin air filter—items I could have replaced myself for a fraction of the cost.
I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. When a family member specifically calls and clearly states that a 93-year-old customer is authorized for an oil change only, that request should be respected.
The $270 charge was frustrating, but the bigger issue is the loss of trust. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to send an elderly, young or unsuspecting family member here without someone accompanying them.
