  My tech was wonderful an very help but the company policy is what made my review so important cause SafeLite AutoGlass has false advertising about the types of glass repairs an replacements there able to do because the do not have all the tools to get the job done also having a technician come out and not knowing what they are dealing with makes it completely hard to get the job done an i believe that every tech needs all the tools to get a job done not just master techs its alot to handle in such short time. Again my tech was wonderful an very helpful an he got the job done even though if was tough on him

  I got a quote of $193 I had it scheduled a d the tech did fi e on installation. The problem was when. I went to pay them they add a fee of over $40 for "glass recycling " i told them to leave it and I would get rid of it. They said they can't leave it per their policy. Basically it's a sucker fee just so they can get every dollar possible. If they just said the the windshield was $253 then fine. Adding this "recycling " is just a junk fee.

  I left a review three weeks ago and gave them a five. Now that I have had the full experience I deleted my previous review and am replacing it with a one. Jesus replaced our windshield. All seemed great until we got out on the road. At 52 mph and above there is a very loud whistle noise. We tried calling Safelite and were passed around by computers for a full week. Nobody will speak with you. We were forced to schedule a warranty call by computer even though nobody would talk to us about what our problem actually is. The day of our scheduled call the technician left a text stating he would let us know when he was headed our way. The day ended and we recieved a text from the technician stating he was not coming but somebody was going to call. I said great we will at least get to talk with a real person. We never got the call and the next day the computer gave us a new appointment four days out. We are going to cancel the appointment as I no longer trust them and will pay to get it fixed by a local glass company that takes pride in their work. I am going to let our insurance company know that Safelite is a disaster. Don't let your insurance company refer you to Safelite as it will probably be a horrible experience. Use a local company that appreciates your business.

  The Technician from Safelite was very professional he also made sure that he had what I ordered and explained what he was going to do. I was also please that he was friendly with my outdoor kitties. HETOR YOU DID AWESOME JOB! Thank you!

  I was serviced by Safelite auto center in Madison, Alabama store number 5410. I had a front windshield replaced on August 11, 2026 Since having my windshield replaced, I’ve only driven my car four days out of the six days as well as I have been extra conscientious about staying proper distance away from 18 wheelers and dump trucks. On August 17 I was going to work and something hit my window which appeared to be a bug, but I know it was not a big rock if it could’ve been a pebble size maybe I don’t think it was a rock at all. I think it was just bugs but anyway, I have a hole in my window after receiving this product already and when I made my purchase I questions specifically the thickness of the windshield as well as the quality of the glass. I was told by the technicians that they don’t make the glasses as good as they used to, which means that they have no confidence in the product that they’re selling it at the safe life store. I called Safeway and asked about their mobile services. I was told that the store did not even offer mobile services, which was a lie I then was given an appointment to bring my car in the next day at 3 o’clock, which I did and I spoke with the store manager named Jay, who was not cooperative in this situation at all he would not give me a real number in order for me to talk to a representative he will not give me the number that is listed on the survey in regards to customer care. He gave me a number that only allows you to schedule appointments and then it tells you for any other concerns you have to go to the website I went back in the store I asked for the store owner. I asked for the parent company name. He did not want to provide me with any of that information, he reluctantly told me, Bell Ron, but would not give me a contact. I had to look up that information on my own on the website he tried to not assist me, informing a formal complaint. He did not attempt to help me or resolve the solution in whatsoever I do not recommend anybody going to Safelite and getting a windshield repair.
