- TUTrumped UpAug 12, 20183.0Alternator for friends toyota rav 4 instock -✅ overpriced✅i went to pick part up friend ordered it with his card i was doing the fixing had the core for return and boom wont give me the part even with the digital receipt and friends name and number so he had to leave work which was the whole point of me fixing and him doing the web order so he woukdnt miss work but that plan went to hell and thats my experience. The moral to the story is I understand being careful and being safe but there's time with time and sense overrides all of that and should be used write that down thanks kids goodnight

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
