  I had a blow out almost time for them to close but Micah stayed long enough for me to get there and he got my new tire on in just minutes. He’s great!!!!

  Micah and Dustin made me feel welcomed and at home, I'd come back just to hang out with them. Genuinely good people there and found a great price to replace a tire. Overall a great experience.

  I got a flat tire on my way into town and showed up at Mavis with a spare on my car and less than an hour to get my tire changed. I really needed 4 new tires, so they put a couple of guys on the job, and got it all taken care of for me. Micah and the entire team were so helpful and did everything to get me in and out quick. The price was good and the service was amazing. I’m so grateful.

  Wow! Mr. Micah was great!! Today was a little rough and I didn’t have the needed amount to pay for new brake pads and rotors, so I felt extremely defeated. However, to my surprise, Mr. Micah recommended an app called snap financing, and when I tell you that a burden was lifted off of me when I was approved!! I truly appreciate his dedication to help me in times of need. He was considerate and determined to make sure I received top-tier service. If you ever need any mechanical work done stop by to see Mr. Micah! A+ all around and very professional. Also we share the same name!! It’s not rare but it’s not common either, I always say. 😆💯 GREAT service!!

  Make sure you get a second opinion as the manager here practices predatory sale behavior (which is illegal in Alabama. Alabama, Section 8-19-5 of the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act specifically prohibits "knowingly making false or misleading statements of fact concerning the need for parts, replacement, or repair service." I brought my car in for an alignment. Shortly after picking it up, the car made a loud thumping noise like a flat tire—a sound that wasn't there before they touched it. When I brought it back, the manager tried to tell me my "rotors were warped and I need new brakes" and a "caliper was hitting the rotor," claiming I needed a full brake and rotor replacement to stop the noise. I knew this was a lie because another Mavis location recently told me my brakes were in great shape. I flatly rejected the new brakes and rotors and told them to fix whatever they did during the alignment. Suddenly, they were able to "fix" the noise without replacing a single brake part. I immediately then had the car inspected by Tire Discounters down the road, who confirmed my rotors are NOT warped and my brakes are fine. The tech laughed actually this store tried to scam me for a sale. Their tech said if you have bad rotors, you would feel it driving. Especially when you brake. You would know. They were disgusted this Mavis tries to scam people. Mavis essentially held my car’s drivability hostage to try and trick me into an expensive, unnecessary repair. They clearly messed something up during the initial service and tried to charge me for their mistake. Extremely predatory behavior—I will not be back. The issue was that there was a bent dust shield. Behind the rotor is a thin metal plate (the dust shield). During an alignment, techs use "heads" that attach to the wheels and they reach behind the tire to adjust the tie rods. It is incredibly easy to bump that shield and bend it just enough so it taps the rotor as it spins. To fix you reach behind the wheel and push it back with a finger. It takes 5 seconds. They probably bent it on purpose to have me back in to lie I needed rotors and brakes.
