Couldn't figure it out, so I took it to Advance Auto Parts on Moores Mill between the Kroger and Burger King. Thought it was the rear light, so I bought a bulb from a helpful employee there. He even helped me install it when I was having trouble. And did the same great job when it turned out to be the front right light, making it a bigger job. Now my car lights are all working as they should be. Only wish I asked the guy's name. Definitely going back there again for any other car parts related issues.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
