  My experience today deserves a 5 star rating. Otis was new, but very thorough and explained every detail. I highly recommend this location. In and out in a timely manner.

  If I could give Kenny at the Hoover Express Oil Change more than five stars, I absolutely would. After what we experienced at another Express Oil Change location, the level of service, professionalism, and genuine concern Kenny showed us deserves to be recognized. My GMC Yukon arrived at the Hoover location disabled and undrivable after an oil change at another Express Oil Change location went terribly wrong. The oil filter had been so badly damaged during attempts to remove it that we were told the repairs could potentially exceed $1,000. After hours of frustration and being left with a vehicle that could no longer be driven, I honestly had very little confidence left in the company. Kenny changed that completely. From my first conversation with him, the difference was obvious. I explained what had happened and emailed him photos of the damaged filter. He took the time to listen, actually looked at the photos, and confidently told me he believed he could remove it without the major repairs we had been told might be necessary. He didn’t make promises he couldn’t keep, and he didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear just to get the vehicle into his shop. He told me what he believed he could do—and then he did exactly that. Once my Yukon arrived, Kenny immediately got to work. Before touching anything, he documented the existing damage with photos, as I specifically requested, and made sure we understood what he was seeing and what he planned to do. Despite the extensive damage that had already been done to the oil filter, Kenny was able to safely remove it without the unnecessary and extremely expensive repairs we had previously been told would be required. That alone was impressive. His customer service made the experience even better. Kenny never made excuses, never tried to pass responsibility around, and never made an already stressful situation more complicated than it needed to be. He simply focused on the vehicle, the problem in front of him, and what he could do to fix it. Throughout the entire process, he kept us informed, answered every question professionally, and treated both my husband and me with respect. His technical knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to actually listen to a customer were exceptional. After the experience we had the day before, dealing with someone who was competent, honest, and genuinely interested in helping us was a huge relief. What impressed me just as much was that Kenny’s customer service didn’t end when we drove away. Several days later, he personally followed up with both my husband and me to make sure the Yukon was still running properly and that we hadn’t experienced any additional problems. There was nothing left for him to sell us and no reason he had to call—he simply wanted to make sure everything was okay. That kind of follow-up is rare, and it says a lot about the pride Kenny takes in his work and the way he treats his customers. One terrible experience at another location had me questioning whether I would ever trust Express Oil Change with one of my vehicles again. Kenny is the reason I would. He didn’t just fix the problem. He took a situation another location had made significantly worse and handled it with the professionalism, skill, accountability, and customer service that should have been there from the beginning. Kenny is an incredible asset to the Hoover location and to Express Oil Change as a company. I would gladly drive past other locations to have him work on my vehicle because he earned that trust. Thank you, Kenny, for taking ownership of a problem you didn’t create and for turning one of the worst automotive service experiences I’ve ever had into one of the best examples of customer service I’ve experienced.

  Jeff is the best I had a rough morning at another place and I decided to just go to them for a simple question and Jeff made a simple question into a simple fix and my day all better he is truly a gem and someone I would recommend when you come here
