I wanted to share a polite, constructive warning for other drivers. I noticed this location has excellent reviews, but looking closely, most of those are for quick flat-tire patches and simple fixes. My experience with a full service—mounting, balancing, and an alignment—was very different. On the positive side, the technician successfully aligned my toe settings as best they could. However, the rest of the experience fell short, especially given the cost. I was charged over $300 just for the alignment and mounting/balancing. This felt exceptionally high, especially since another Mavis location ,and other competitors had previously quoted me a lower price for the exact same services. Right before checkout, there was also an uncomfortable attempt to upsell me on windshield wipers. The actual mounting and balancing work felt rushed and lacked attention to detail. My aftermarket wheels were left with long, crooked strips of adhesive weights with the tape visibly peeling off,and in some spots not even attached. Furthermore, despite advertisements stating wheels are torqued to factory specifications, I observed the technician use an impact gun to fully reinstall the wheels without utilizing a torque wrench. Lastly, I was charged a tire disposal fee, even though I kept my old tires. The environment did not feel particularly welcoming or friendly. While I am glad the alignment itself was resolved, the combination of high pricing, rushed balancing, and skipped steps means I will likely look elsewhere next time. Just be sure to double-check your itemized receipt and workmanship if you visit for major services.I can't recommend this location sadly.

These guys are great fast and very friendly idk about what the last review saying that they were unfriendly and rude or whatever but they always are nice and welcoming when I come in especially the alignment tech he goes above and beyond and also does a great job I paid to have my car aligned when no one else in town could do it and he got it done correctly and it didn’t take longer I’ll definitely be back for sure
I came in with my daughter in law to get her tires rotated. We were the only customers. We had gotten there about 40 minutes after they opened. There were 3 employees all sitting. When I came in a man named Ronnie walked up to the counter. Not friendly at all. Not a welcome in, not a smile, not a good morning. He definitely does not know the meaning of customer service. I even tried to make small talk at first. He didn’t respond to that. Then at that point another customer pulls up. Ronnie ask me what I wanted. I told him and he got my name and number. Then he started talking to the other customer that had walked in and went out and got the other workers to start working on the other customers tires. I was kind of shocked when he started working on them before even acknowledging my daughter’s truck. When Ronnie came back inside. I watched them help the other customer. I questioned about our rotation (my daughters truck still not touched and in the same spot we parked) and he said yeah it’s going to take 40 minutes and just looked at me and I acting confused and said we were here first and I looked around and he again just looked at me. I’m just here to say from the start he acted like I was an idiot with no personality and I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. More customers, all men came in for service and Ronnie was extremely nice to all of the men including the male customer that came in right after I did. IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT WOMEN????? From the moment I walked in I was made to feel out of place and set aside. Normally when I go somewhere like that the employees go above and beyond and are extremely friendly. Also when they were finished they drove the truck out of the garage to the parking lot and we walked up. He got out and tripped. When he did that, his ring scratched the truck and he said “Oh did I just scratch your truck with my ring? “ WELL ACTUALLY……..YES YOU DID
Had a horrible experience here. Front Tires went flat on my girlfriend’s car in the movies parking lot, luckily there’s a tire place in the parking lot, so me and my girlfriend drive down there and walked in told the guy at the counter the situation, granted they were close to closing (around 4:20), and I asked if we can air up the tires and drive it down before they close and see if they can work on it. They guy basically told me to shove it and that they close at exactly 5 no later no earlier and if I were able to get it in before then we’d have to pick it up tomorrow. Now I’m understanding on them getting off when they close I’m not complaining about that I’m more upset with how rude the guy was. So we ran down to Walmart turns out we needed brand new tires so they didn’t just lose out on a patch sale they lost out on selling us new tires. This place sucks don’t go here

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Gadsden! I recently had the front brakes and rotors replaced on my 2015 Silverado, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was professional, the work was done right, and the price was very reasonable. It’s hard to find a shop that provides quality work without making you feel like you’re being overcharged or pressured into unnecessary repairs, these guys didn’t do that to me! My truck is running like it’s new and I’m extremely satisfied with the service I received. If you’re looking for a trustworthy shop in the Gadsden area, I highly recommend giving Mavis Tires & Brakes a try. Great service, great price, and great people!
