Took my car to the fairhope advanced Auto parts after getting a friend to jump off my old battery and Paul made the whole bad situation a great experience. He was super nice and helpful. Replaced the battery for me quick and efficiently. The most impressed I've ever been at any auto store location! I'd recommend it to anyone and if Paul is there ask for him!

It was definitely a bad battery. We did some research online real quick and the closest place was advanced Auto parts so after I jumped her car we went straight over there. Paul was the associate that helped us and he was amazing! He went above and beyond in customer service to help my friend. I will never forget that. Al reclamarle, me dijo que yo le había dado eso, pero hasta conté los billetes en su cara. Claramente me robó y amenazó con llamar a la policía pues supo que no era de aqui y que era extranjero, pero al enterarse que no soy inmigrante trató de ofrecerme 20 dolares para que me fuera y no lo molestara más y ya no quiso llamar a la policía, incluso se burlo cuando hable español diciendo "Esto es América". No puedo creer que tengan personal tan racista trabajando ahí que quiera aprovecharse de las personas por pensar que no sabemos hablar ingles.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
