  This dealership is great all-around but I have to shout out their service dept for continued exceptional service that goes above and beyond. Special thanks to Matt (and Mason) who not only greeted me with a smile but got the AC on my 129k mile Odyssey working quickly on a 90 degree day. Experiences like this are why I will continue to shop Honda for my next car and more importantly choose this exact store for service in the future. Good service is hard to find and this team continues to deliver beyond what is expected. Thank you for keeping my family cool and I look forward to buying another vehicle from you soon. It's one thing to make a sale, it's another to continue to earn someone's trust. Your character speaks for itself! I appreciate you all so much.

  I had a great car-buying experience from start to finish. I initially emailed David at the dealership, and the process was straightforward from the beginning. Jesse, the sales manager, gave me a fair deal on both the purchase price of my new vehicle and my trade-in without any games or back-and-forth. Alex in finance made the paperwork quick, easy, and painless. I already had pretty good credit and a pre-approved loan through Honda Finance, and they respected that. There was absolutely no pressure to buy extended warranties or other add-ons, which was refreshing. The entire experience was honest, efficient, and completely free of the typical dealership BS. P.S. If you're in the Huntsville area, I'd recommend making the extra 30-minute drive to Decatur. It was well worth it for the better buying experience. Overall, I'm extremely happy with both the purchase price and the entire process. I'd gladly buy from them again.

  Found the exact car I wanted on Carfax. Contacted the dealer and let them know I’m very interested in the vehicle. I text with him all day yesterday. They kept trying to get me to fill out purchase paperwork information to hold the car until today. I sent a message at 930am today saying we were going to-try to get up there today and 30 minutes later I received an email from carfax that it’s unavailable. I offered a down payment to hold it until I can get there. They said no I would need to do the paperwork to hold it. They sold the vehicle 30 minutes after I spoke to them. I’m so disappointed. Was told after my review that they already had someone driving there to see the car. All after speaking about it the day before. They already had it sold. First come first serve he said. I was first since I contacted you the day prior. Update: I responded to the dealership and was pushed to voicemail. So again go on past here. If you’re the one giving it two rings and hanging with no message, how am I to answer?

  Shottenkirk Honda in Decatur, AL has the best Service Department in north Alabama. The mechanics and master mechanics are Honda Certified. They have high integrity and their work is EXCELLENT. Just picked up my serviced vehicle today and it is ready for the road trip and vacation adventures! Shout-out to my Service Advisor, Talon C.- He is the best advisor I’ve encountered in my 12 years of doing business with Honda. He’s knowledgeable and trustworthy. He educates and advises me regarding needed service for my family’s 3 Honda vehicles. He gives complete and accurate estimates and provides timely updates of my vehicle service status. I highly recommend Shottenkirk Honda in Decatur, for all your Honda needs. And if you’re there for vehicle service, ask for Talon as your Service Advisor - he provides EXCELLENT customer care!

  I absolutely hate car shopping. It’s usually a stressful, painful process, and I went into this purchase expecting more of the same. However, my experience with Honda Shottenkirk in Decatur completely changed that. I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted, but it had been difficult to find. When I located it at Honda Shottenkirk, I drove an hour and a half from out of state to purchase it. Before making the trip, the team was able to provide all of the numbers upfront, which I really appreciated. A special shoutout to Raleigh for the excellent communication and for making that happen. Once we arrived, everyone was professional, friendly, and respectful of our time. Tyus was fantastic to work with and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Alex in Finance was equally great, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything and walk us through the financing process without any pressure. This was, by far, the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. The team was transparent, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I would absolutely make the drive again and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Honda from Honda Shottenkirk in the future. Highly recommend!
