  BUYERS DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT CAMPING WORLD CALERA ALABAMA!!!!!! I purchased a brand new 2024 wildwood forest river 29view from camping world in Calera Al on 12-29-23. I've owned this brand new camper for 31 months and out of this 31 months brand new camper has been in the shop a total of 18 months. I've only been able to enjoy my camper for 13 months total. This camper had issues the first day I brought it home. When I got home the awning had three large holes in it and water was leaking everywhere. I call them and took it back to the shop. It was there for months on that issue. Then the brand new windows was leaking water. I took it back to the shop to get new windows installed in a new 70.000 camper. Then the water heater burst. I took it back there so they can install a new water heater and that took months with the warranty and labor. Then in the middle of my camping trip a pipe started leaking in between the bathroom wall and the washer and dryer wall. I took it back for that and this took months. Then my black tank flush valve went out so I took it back and here again this took months to get repaired. I was on another camping trip and the brand new refrigerator went out. This again took months to replace and to get my camper back. I was headed to destin to go camping and when I opened my camper the large door in the living room with the mirrors and cabinets attached had fallen down and was laying on my floor and sofa. I didn't take it back then because I've had enough of them at this point so me and some friends put the extremely heavy door back up.. Now it's was March 21st 2026 and I went to get my camper headed to virginia. The main slide out is broken and will not extend at all. You can hear the motor draining and the components making a loud knocking noise. So on March 23rd 2026 I took my camper back to Calera camping world again for this repair. O told them I needed my camper back by April 18th for The University Of virginia spring game so I could stay and watch my son. The camper wasn't ready because they can't find the parts for my new camper. I called and called again in May 2026 and my camper still isn't repaired. They got the wrong part. I express to them that my daughter was graduating from college and I need my camper for me and my family to stay in. So May it's still not ready. I called in June 2026 over 9 times and the part is here and it will be ready so. I told them that I was going out of town for the 4th of July for a family reunion. They told me that it's 90 percent completed and it would be available for pickup on Friday June 26th 2026. I called Friday morning June 26th and my camper wasn't ready for pickup. The service advisor said she was off until Wednesday July 1st 2026. So July 3rd came and I didn't get a phone call stating that my camper was ready. So I couldn't take my camper out of town for my family reunion on the 4th of July 2026 because it's not ready. Nobody called me to communicate anything with me. Now today is July 8th 2026 and I don't have my camper and I haven't received a phone call or email from them. My camper has been in the shop at camping world calera from March 23rd 2026 until today July 8th 2026 at 8:50pm. Camping World calera has scammed me out of money by selling my a lemon camper. The Fixed Operations Director of Camping World Thomas Lowery could careless about you or your problems once your money is spent. The service Advisor Sharlene Stahley will not respond to phone calls or emails. She to doesn't care about your problems ir concerns. Those two individuals are the worst people I've dealt with in customer service. I call over and over and the receptionist tells me that their on break or with other customers. I know this isn't true because everytime i drive over a hour to them. All of them are just there sitting behind the counter doing nothing at all.

  I had been looking for a slam latch for my 2018 5th wheel, with no luck. I believe they stopped making this particular latch ~2020. While at Camping World of Calera, I spoke with Jeremy Mosher and he said he would ask around at other RV parts departments and see if he can find a latch for me. The following day I received a phone call from Jeremy telling me he was able to locate a latch for me at Bish's of Calera. He said the latch is at the parts department check in desk, waiting for me to pick it up. Jeremy went above and beyond to find the part for me! It was well worth the drive from Montgomery, and I highly recommend them!!!

  2 weeks later and still no word about the refund of our refundable deposit. Not satisfied at all, is the best I can say. It started all well, till we decided to not buy that day and put a deposit down. A sales person pressured us to sign, what we happily have not. Days later we decided to buy, go there for an inspection and the fridge was not working, not their fault at all, but should have been checked. For several reason we decided not to buy, still waiting to receive our deposit back, what was promised to us as easy refundable. If you want to finance with them, on their terms you're possible of good, but for a hefty price tag. My suggestion, bring your hard earned money elsewhere.

  Terrible! I put down a 1000 dollar deposit and never got it back. Brandi told me that I will get it back but nothing. We were very interested in a new motorhome. Turned out the fridge wasn't working. Do your inspection before you buy there and don't put down a deposit bc you will never get it back. Their popcorn is yummy, that's why I give one star

  I have been to many camping worlds in South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. Spoken with many sales people. Despite the fact I have never made a deal I can say I have always been satisfied with the experience. This experience not so much. I made an appointment to look at. A camper 3 days in advance. I received a confirmation email the morning of. Drove 2 hours one way to find out it had sold. They showed me a fifth wheel of much lower quality. With trim falling off the wall and broken tv mounts for 10k more. They also showed me a comparable camper for 15k more. They offered me what they called a loss of a deal on the 15k more camper. There deal was 400 dollars higher then bankston rv ( my local dealer). They tried changing payments, down payments and loan terms to convince me to buy something. Ultimately I would compare this store to a pay here buy her repo car dealership.
