  I wanted to share my experience with WW Williams. I had an issue with my truck and lost prime, so I called roadside service while I was less than 3 miles from Exit 262. The call was made to what appeared to be “after hours,” and a foreign-sounding voice answered. I asked directly if they provided roadside service, and they confirmed they did. Then I asked what it would cost to come out and fix the truck. I was told the call-out fee would be $900. When I questioned the amount, the response was still $900—clearly stated as “not including parts” and “not including anything else.” At that point, I decided not to proceed. They asked if I wanted to move forward, and I said I would get back with them, but I never did. In my opinion, this is a major rip-off. A $900 service call for an after-hours dispatch—without clearly included work beyond arriving—is unreasonable and sets you up for additional charges that you may not be prepared for. If you’re dealing with a roadside emergency, you deserve better pricing and transparency than what I was given. My advice: avoid their after-hours service. If you’re stranded, find a different provider that will be fair and upfront so your money can go further instead of being taken for a call-out fee that doesn’t provide meaningful help.

  Great Semi Truck repair and diagnostic business. Ambers Great Customer Service. Great Service Advisor. Mr. Willie Great Mechanic to clear fault codes on Truck. I came in for a SCR Efficiency Test to clear codes related to Poor DEF quality fault because of dirty DEF filter.Then derated to 55 mph with yellow check engine lamp. After I replaced the DEF pump/filter included A Forced Regen cleared the ACM faults related to the DEF system. But the Fault codes SPN 521049/521052 FMI 31. stayed on dash and required Diagnostic Link tool to remove MCM latched codes. That Keep Speed at 55mph soon to derate to 5 mph. Peach State Freightliner in Tuscaloosa AL told me check in at 7am. I would be there all day. Birmingham Peach State Freightliner wanted me check In at 7am and I'll be there all day. Not W.W. Williams..honest, reliable, and straight to the solve problem type Shop...flat rate charge for a simple fix and had me on my way. They will fix other issues if needed. BUT only if you want them too. They don't do things behind your back and try to get around you. No surprise charges. They keep you informed of fair up front prices. This is the only place to take your Commercial Vehicles too when in Birmingham AL.
