  I needed to get my tires balanced, and I called and the customer service was great when I arrived Ashton asked me questions to see what service I needed and Rodney took great care of me as far as making sure all my needs were met for my car, at the time, I also had my children with me and they were running around and Rodney was very sweet with them as well. I felt comfortable and Satisfied. I would highly recommend this location.

  I had been out of town for two weeks and had a 9:00 appointment. I turn my car on and tire pressure light came on. It’s August in Alabama so I knew weather didn’t cause the issue. My husband, who was unavailable, told me to swing by NTB and they could check my tires for me. He was correct. In under 10 minutes they had filled my tires and did not find any issues. I was They were so friendly and I was not even charged. Thank you!!

  Had a leak after last oil change and Kelvin and the team did what was needed to completely fix the problem. This is why, along with nationwide coverage, that I love dealing with Mavis/NTB.

  Went to 280 location about ten minutes before they closed to get a tire patched and they were more than happy to try to help. Talked to store manager Kendall. He looked at my tire, but through no fault of his own they weren't able to get it patched, but was still nice enough to put my spare on for me himself. Super nice, super helpful. I'll definitely take my car to them again.

  Do not send your wives, daughters, or family members to this location alone. This shop engages in textbook predatory upsell tactics, falsifies equipment readings to manufacture fake failures, and returns vehicles to customers in an actively dangerous, damaged condition. I sent my wife here yesterday for a single tire replacement with a nail in the sidewall, along with an explicit, handwritten diagram on how to rotate our existing tires (keeping matching 7mm treads on the front drive axle of our FWD Kia Sedona). Keep in mind, I booked online and had already chosen the tire. Additionally, I did not ask for them to do ANY other work besides the tire! Here is exactly how this shop attempted to scam her and damaged our vehicle in the process: THE FALSIFIED BATTERY SCAM: They handed my wife a printout claiming her battery was failing and needed replacement. I tested the battery at home right after with a digital analyzer: it is a 700 CCA Duralast that is only 11 months old, and it tested at 686 CCA (98% capacity, "GOOD BATTERY"). How did Mavis show a failure? Their technician intentionally programmed their machine to look for an 875 CCA battery instead of a 700 CCA battery, rigging the computer math to throw a false "Replace Soon" code. THE "FAILING ALTERNATOR" LIE: When my wife firmly told them the battery was brand new and that I had changed it myself, the technician didn't skip a beat. Without running a single diagnostic voltage test, he instantly pivoted to a new scare tactic: "Well, then your alternator must be going." Both their printout and my home tester proved the battery was sitting at a perfect, fully-charged 12.6V–12.8V—something physically impossible if the alternator were failing. THE SUSPENSION EXTORTION: A male employee physically jiggled the front end and told my wife the tie rod was structurally failing due to "corrosion." Surface rust on heavy steel undercarriage parts is completely normal. Furthermore, a certified Kia dealership handled and cleared this exact side during an axle service less than two years ago. SABOTAGING THE TIRES: They completely ignored my wife's custom rotation instructions. They deliberately paired a brand-new 9mm tire with a worn 7mm tire on the front drive/steering axle. This uneven diameter causes radial pull and front-end vibrations (suspiciously mimicking the bad tie rod they were desperately trying to sell us). To top it off, they didn't even bother to cold-inflate the new tire to the factory 35 PSI spec. I had to fix the rotation and the pressures myself this morning. GROSS NEGLIGENCE & PROPERTY DAMAGE: When they forced the battery out to run their rigged test, they snapped the plastic mounting clips on the engine air intake duct and left the positive terminal shield flipped wide open—creating a direct electrical short and fire hazard. Worst of all, they broke two clips on the rear plastic lower control arm shield, letting my wife drive out of the parking lot with a massive plastic guard dragging and scraping aggressively on the pavement right next to the rear tire. When she drove back, they claimed "it was like that" before lazily popping it back on. This isn't a repair shop; it's a high-pressure corporate extraction scheme that relies on intimidating people who they assume won't question them. I have ironclad photographic proof of the falsified CCA inputs, and the dangling underbody shield. Avoid this predatory location at all costs. Go to a trusted, local, independent mechanic instead.
