Showed me my brakes & explained everything. Didn’t try to sell me on anything just thorough. They were great! Will definitely be back!
- JLJosie Patino Lipscomb6 days ago5.0In March, I was in Birmingham at UAB as a caregiver for 5 weeks. I discovered a tire had gone flat on my car in the parking garage. I was able to air the tire and take it to a local tire shop for inspection. Unfortunately, there were no Tire Discounters in the Birmingham area that serviced my car. I did find a Mavis Tire shop within minutes of UAB, and was able to take the car there for inspection. I called this Mavis Tire location and spoke with Steven. I explained my situation and he said to bring the car by and they would take a look at the tire. The tire was not repairable and they proceeded to put my spare tire on. Because I did not live in the immediate area and lived more than 100 miles away they suggested I did not drive on the interstate with the spare on. I thought the damaged tire was still under warranty coverage and could be replaced by Tire Discounters and found out that was not the case. Several days later, I returned back to Mavis Tire and they ordered two new tires to be installed on my vehicle. The staff was extremely supportive and sensitive to my circumstance. I have nothing but high praise for their customer service and quick turnaround and compassion for me as a new Customer. I'm very grateful and extremely thankful for their help and understanding in an unusual circumstance. Mavis Tire will have me as a long time customer from this point forward!

They took the time to explain everything clearly, without talking down to me or making me feel out of place. We ended up chatting, and when I mentioned I’ve been saving for grad school, they added new wipers at no charge. Such a thoughtful, above-and-beyond experience. Will be back!
