  A BIG THANK YOU TO ENTERPRISE TRUCK AND VAN RENTAL on West Park Drive in Homewood, AL. I had confirmed a van rental via their website to drive from Birmingham to a warehouse about 55 miles north and return the same day. The day before I was to pick up the rental, Courtney, at the ENTERPRISE office, called to let me know that she was not sure I would have the particular van that I had secured, when I arrived the next morning but that she would find something that would work for me. When I arrived at their office, Courtney actually offered me a better deal than I had secured from their website - Extremely professional of her to do so. The van was taken to be filled with fuel, before I left the premises. It was brought back and Courtney and I did the ritual inspection of the van, before I pulled away. My destination was about 85 miles, one way and I began my trip. I had traveled about 50 miles and all of a sudden I hear a ‘ding’. It was the LOW FUEL alert and I had about 10 miles until empty. At this point in the trip, I had already exited the interstate and was in the middle of the country, not familiar at all with my surroundings. I immediately called ENTERPRISE to let them know I was NOT happy at all, since I was told I had a FULL TANK OF FUEL before I pulled out of their parking lot. This put me in a very bad situation, being in a strange area and a little panic set in. I hung up the phone from ENTERPRISE and thank goodness, I found fuel about 5 miles down the road and continued on my journey. Upon return of the van, that afternoon, I walked into the ENTERPRISE office and was immediately greeted by Courtney and Brittney, (another ENTERPRISE agent) They both showered me with apologies and asked ‘what can we do to make this up to you? We are always wanting to know what we can improve upon, so please tell us how we can make this right for you’. This entire trip’s purpose was for me to transfer some auction items from a warehouse north of Birmingham to the recipients who had bid and won the items. The auction was the annual ‘HYDRANGEAS UNDER THE STARS’ event, benefitting ALDRIDGE GARDENS in Hoover, AL, their largest fund raiser. I began to tell the purpose of my trip to Courtney and Brittney and they immediately went into action, taking care of the situation of the ‘low fuel’ and my panic and made it right for ALDRIDGE GARDENS. My thanks go to the team at ENTERPRISE TRUCK AND VAN RENTAL and especially to COURTNEY HERON and BRITTNEY BOWMAN. It is this type of kindness and professionalism that shines in such situations and makes the work we do for non profit organizations and facilities such as ALDRIDGE GARDENS, all worth the time and effort.

  Do not count on them for anything even if you have a reservation that basically means nothing. We have had multiple bad experiences here after years of using them. Would recommend switching to Metro or literally any other company for van rental

  I am extremely disappointed with the lack of reliability at this location. I reserved a cargo van weeks in advance and reconfirmed the booking multiple times, including a phone call days before pickup. However, upon arrival, I was told the vehicles on-site were unavailable due to a recall. No advance notice was provided, leaving me without a solution at the last minute. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
