  When Hertz failed to deliver, Enterprise came to the rescue and had a vehicle within 10 minutes. Polite staff and excellent service.

  I had a great experience with picking up my car and returning it. Both employees were polite and understanding (and I really wish I could remember their names!). I usually fly in and out of Atlanta, but with lower stress in Birmingham and great attitudes the employees exhibited, I may have to reconsider. I wish enterprise would move to a quicker checkout for known drivers. But with easy going and efficient employees, I understand they may want to use that quality to set them apart.

  The Enterprise at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth airport in Birmingham, AL was a little frustrating. I want to make this review crystal clear that I do not blame the front line, public facing staff. They were excellent, kind, and they were working their butts off. At the Atlanta airport, you can go straight to your car. In Birmingham, you cannot. This puts you at the mercy of a long line with one, maybe 2 (if you're lucky) employees doing their absolute best to get you in and out of there. There was a long line and the young lady behind the counter was doing the absolute best she could while keeping a kind and cheerful attitude. I feel sorry for them. It just feels like yet another American company that gives no regards to their staff or customers once they get your money.
