- JBJennifer BoutinJul 5, 20252.0As you likely know, towing is a predatory business model. We were forced to use Action Towing due to Shelby County calling them. Know this partnership overall is fraudulent. Our car was towed on a holiday. We were told we could not pick it back up that same day for that reason. We arrived the next morning to pick it up only to be charged for "48 hours" because it stayed overnight even though we did not have the option to pick it up early. $455 later which had to be cash btw (We were not told that and had to make a separate trip to get cash). The driver was unprofessional and unkind not to mention not helpful -all the while being buddies with the county officers. We asked for the address and he pointed to the truck door decal... The office staff did their best to be helpful. Overall, an unfortunate experience that we hope to never repeat.
