  I called around and around getting prices on some work I needed done to my car and then I saw a Facebook post from one of my former employees Ms. Shann. She was totally awesome when she worked for me. I came into the New Mavis in my City of Alexander city and let me tell you Ms. Shann took absolutely GREAT Care of me from start to finish. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAVIS IN ALEXANDER CITY. COME SEE MS. SHANN & she will get you right from start to finish. She will let you what’s what from the jump. She is awesome. She is a good girl and will help wherever she can. With me being on a fixed income she made everything work in my budget.

  I Must say this store makes me feel welcomed everytime I stop by. The Assistant Managers Shann. & Kyle are the absolute best. Shann. Is top notch. Everything be so clean and fresh. The customer service is A1 no pressure at all. I recommend The Alex City Location. Yall stop by and see Shann. & The Crew. You want be disappointed.

  This place is really spectacular!! Firstly, the speed of service is top notch. Right when we pulled into the parking lot there was already an employee greeting us and asking us what we were there for. We came in for an oil change and they quickly gave us a price and told us it should be about 30 minutes for the service to be performed. The nice, kind, and sweet lady named shann on the inside of the building was very helpful and quick to assist us with what we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend coming to Mavis Tires for all your vehicle needs and services.

  We received a new tire from Mavis, and it’s a great quality tire. There were a few confusing issues, such as the address taking us around the road closure, causing us to have a round-trip of about 34 minutes when it should’ve only taken us a good five minutes to get there. Google Maps takes you around the world to get there. We did report it with Google Maps to see if they will change it because the actual business is located in the same parking lot as Publix, so all you have to do is enter the Publix parking lot and go toward the back, and you will see it. I made the appointment online, which did give an online discount for reserving it on their website. Kyle from Mavis called pretty quickly after I reserved it online and verified the appointment, and he did confirm they had a tire in stock for my vehicle. When we came into the store the following day, Kyle wasn’t there, but another employee who told us there was no tire in stock in that size and that they would have to order one, and it wouldn’t be here until the following Monday. He never offered any other brand in the size that we needed, so we ended up having to pay a deposit to be able to order the tire and wait until the following Monday (we did let him know we had already talked to Kyle who confirmed they had a few tires in stock in the size we needed but the employee continued to say they didn’t have any in the size). We decided to go back the next day to see if Kyle was there, and he was, so we explained to him what happened, and he did confirm they did have a tire in stock that would fit my vehicle. He then canceled the order and had the new tire put on for us to be ready to go. There were a few hiccups, which I assumed there would be with it being a new business and everything having to be learned. We never received the discounted reservation promotion from online reserving the spot, and from what we were told, they can’t even see it in the actual store from where customers reserve, so that was a bummer and may need to be fixed because that’s why a lot of customers come in thinking they’ll get an extra discount, but it’s not actually added on.

  I sent my daughter to Mavis after making an appointment and it told me the price. But when she got there the manager Doug tried to charge her almost double. And I even put an appointment online with that price and he canceled my online service. I called and Doug said he would call corporate. Well bout 30 minutes later Doug gave me a number for me to call. Long story short to get 2 tires took from 230 til almost 6. The manager Bobby and Doug finally made the price right. But was such a headache and I did not like the way Doug tried to get smart with me. But she got her tries and hours later was made right. May need to work out a few customer service issues and the prices from online and in store. Bobby was very friendly and helpful.
