- NFNatasha FullerApr 25, 20261.0I’d heard positive reviews about Alaska Tire Service so I had some hope—but their system for making appointments makes getting service nearly impossible. They don’t accept walk-ins, and you have to call at 8 a.m. to make an appointment. They only book one day in advance, and both days fill up within minutes. The cycle starts over again the next day, so if you don’t reach someone in time, you basically never get a chance to get your car seen. After awhile it seems like an endless futile cycle. Sure they’re busy, but that is silly business practice if you’re looking for timely and dependable service. I searched for over a week trying to get an appointment. Eventually my frustration got the best of me. I ended up finding another shop that squeezed me in and fixed the problem. Alaska Tire Service probably does great work, but from what I could access they really disappointed me.

I went over there with a tire that was leaking and they found the nail and didn’t charge me a diamond. They were done in like less than 20 minutes. I think this is my new tire shop. I love them.
