I've been going to Point S for years. I have loved them and recommended them to many friends. They have always treated me well and done a great job. But this is now the second time I’ve called with a reasonable, specific request and gotten pushback instead of help. My cruise control stopped working right after front-end work. I called today to ask how busy they were. Instead of answering, he pressed more on what I needed done. I said that I wanted them to check for a disconnected or cracked vacuum line, which is a common issue on this vehicle and a simple thing to rule out. Instead of answering my question, I got asked - Was cruise control was really that important to me? How much do I really want to spend on this kind of repair? -- instead of helping me get my car seen, I got mansplained: online groups often sound like they know what they’re talking about, but they aren’t experts. Geeze. I just wanted you to check the vacuum line. I know that this is not a dumb thing to check. I have consulted multiple sources before calling the auto shop. Based on this last call, if I brought it in, I don't think I would trust them to give a genuine assessment. This is the second time this has happened (different issues). At this point, I feel like I have to find a new mechanic. If someone reads this and wants to call me - you've got my number.

Have previously gone here without issue but don’t know what they were actually thinking when they shoved all 4 unwrapped studded tires in the back seat of my husbands truck instead of the bed which ripped the back seat fabric and lining. Shows a lack of care or concern.

I have been coming here for years. Called ahead asking for an alignment, stating that my truck has a worn front end and I will be willing to pay full price on an alignment to get the front end as straight as it can be with the worn out components that I am aware of it having. Even told them I’d sign a waiver that the attempt is the best they could try. Got told yes and bring it down, brought it down on a scheduled day. Got told about a “inspection rate” that I wasn’t told about on the phone. Stated to them AGAIN that the front end bushings are worn. That I am after an alignment. . Dropped off first thing in the morning. No call all day long. I had to call at around 3pm and ask for an update- yours is up next-. Show up at 4:45. (No call it was done) then To be charged 155$ and they didn’t even attempt to adjust a thing... Due to worn out components. Along with no estimate for repairs for any of the parts “needed” to be repaired. I understand it’s busy, but communication is key. I get it, it’s not ideal to align with worn out components, but I communicated what It had multiple times, before I even handed the keys over. Super disappointed I couldn’t get that same commutation back. This whole situation could have been handled so much differently.

I am very impressed with the work they do. Went specifically for wheel bearing replacements on my Subaru and they got the job done in a timely manner and a price I was pleased with. Excellent customer service, they work well as a team, and are true professionals. I’m an Army mechanic myself and I am 100% satisfied with their professionalism and service they provide.

While I was getting my oil changed, I asked about the check engine light since they were inspecting my car, he said he would check it for me, cool. Tell me why he didn’t tell me it would be $150 just for checking it. That little bit of information would have been nice to know before I did +$400 of work on it the next day… My nephew goes there, we’re the same household. Communication with him is different than I as a female. Why? Do I need to bring a guy with me or have a male bring in my car? I could have gotten my car diagnosed for free by my brother. If that wasn’t an option, again, communication would have changed how I feel about the service…
