    I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Enterprise. I had a confirmed reservation, but it was denied because I didn’t have a physical credit card, despite having a digital credit card with my name on it and able to fully verify my identity. I understand that companies have security policies in place. However, in 2026, tap-to-pay and digital wallets are widely accepted and secure. I’ve lived in NYC for years and rarely carry a physical card because digital payment is standard and protected. When a customer can present matching ID and proof of card ownership, it’s difficult to understand why there is zero flexibility. What made this especially painful was that I was in town for a funeral... Essentially, after being told I couldn’t use my digital card and had to cancel my reservation, my mother and I were left standing there, visibly distressed and trying to figure out how I would get home for my flight the next day. There was no effort to offer alternatives, no suggestions, no guidance. The employees closed the registration and moved on. We were like ghosts, with no monetary value making us important. I even asked whether a manager could make an exception given the circumstances (I read online this could happen) and I was told no. There was no attempt at problem-solving or compassion--just a rigid repetition of policy. In a moment already defined by grief and stress, the lack of empathy felt heartless. It was really weird watching them sitting at their desks working. Policies are important, but so is humanity. I hope Enterprise considers modernizing its payment policies and empowering staff to show discretion and compassion when customers are clearly in difficult situations. Thank you, Hertz, for being there for me.

    I loved my Enterprise experience. Every time we use them, they are amazing—especially the Wichita Falls location on Old Jacksboro. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Whether it’s over the phone or in person, they are always ready to assist in any way they can.

    I'm really happy with the people at this location and appreciate the level of customer service they gave me. The manager (can't remember her name but she had long braids) is awesome and was really helpful assisting me with the insurance, and giving me a ride. The only thing that needed attention, which I feel is a corporate issue and not a location issue, was the condition of the tires, which were noisy due to uneven wear, and dangerous for highway driving or bad weather. The car had just come in from another state like that, but as a whole, the corporation should be mindful of the safety of the cars they're putting people into, and encourage their locations nationwide to be more consistent with the maintenance, or not rent a car with that many miles. (about 44,000)
