- JHJohn HardyDec 18, 20255.0This is an OUTSTANDING tire shop. I was recently in the area towing a heavy load on a dual-axle trailer when a pothole caused one of my trailer tires to blow out. I limped a couple of miles to this Mavis location, where I was promptly greeted and helped. The store had the correct trailer tire in stock and set about mounting it for me. Unfortunately, they discovered that the pothole not only blew my tire but also bent my trailer wheel rim beyond repair. Since they could not put a new tire on that rim, they instead mounted my spare on the trailer and got me ready for the road -- and refused to charge me for the work and help. (Assistant Manager Chance was great, and he did let me give Jose in the shop a cash tip for his help and work on my rig.) The store is clean, the people are friendly, and they helped out a traveler who was having a bad day -- I cannot recommend this shop highly enough.
