BE AWARE!! We recently purchased a new Honda Pilot at Weatherford Honda on December 11, 2025. I should have walked out, but I did not because I really like and wanted the car. What I did not like was the negotiation process. They tell you one thing and the paperwork says something else. Let me explain.
I was told on the phone that they had an AWD Honda Pilot Sport for $47,700.00 and did I want to come drive it? I said yes, we get there and Preston has brought up two Pilots for us to drive. Very nice young man, but he has nothing to do with the negotiations. I purchased a Chevy in Granbury, and I only negotiated with the sales guy. A much better process. When we decide we want to move forward, Preston is out of the discussion. There is group of salesmen in a room behind a glass wall, and they all go back there to talk to the finance guy or manager or whoever. Preston comes back from that room with a piece of paper asking me what monthly price do I want?
First the paper does not show the 46,700k as a starting point, instead it has the MSRP which is 51,375K then there is a list of numbers with no + or – just a list of numbers and short descriptions, this is where they get you. They have you focus your attention on the bottom line and monthly payments you want, vs going through the numbers and explaining them, they make it as confusing as they can. This is when I should have walked out. They added in some ridiculous price for Honda Care for 2300.00 which no one explained or asked me if I wanted it. They just added it in, 2300 is the cost for a year for chip paint, tires, interior etc.. for a year!! Really? This is A BIG RIP OFF. If it was for 3 years maybe a good deal if you find value in that. WATCH FOR THIS. It is also mandatory at this dealership – walk out if they will not take it off. Also the exact car I purchased (VIN verified) the following day was advertised on their website at $45,293 as a starting point. I paid way more than that for the car.
I asked for extended warranty which was not included in the first set of numbers. Then another guy comes over for that, then another guy comes over for the % of interest rate. I kept asking what the interest rate is, it took the third guy to tell me.
This is their game, they distract you, refocus you, confuse you, and cheat you.
I was told my extended warranty was for 8 years truly bumper to bumper and with no deductible. We agreed on a price for the warranty, but when signing the documents to purchase, they used an electronic signature like docusign. Make sure to LOOK at each one carefully because, I missed that what I bought was 7 years extended warranty and 100.00 deductible. Something I realized after I drove off the lot.
After the sale, I was told I would be sent the information on the warranty NEVER RECEIVED IT. I have called the dealership three times since December 11th. ON Dec 12th, I spoke to Preston and his sale manager. I wanted my 8 years and no deductible warranty. Sales Manager said let me make some calls and I will get back to you. Never heard from him. They screwed me on the overall price but at least they could stand by their word on the warranty. I think his name was Michael.
Called again on Dec. 29th I talked to the Manager of the dealership. I asked him to send me information on my warranty and why I had a $100,00 deductible. He said I needed to talk to someone else, and he would call me back. Never got an email on the warranty – or a call back. I can only hope I will get the best care with the warranty I bought. But time will tell.
There after sales support is non existing, so when you buy and walk out you are chop liver to them, and they will not get back to you on anything and when I talk to them, you can tell by the tone of their voice they do not want to deal with you.
My advice – DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS WEATHERFORD HONDA DEALERSHIP or if you do CONTROL THE SITUATION, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU LET THEM.

I had an amazing car-buying experience and couldn’t be more satisfied. From the start, the sales rep Preston was very welcoming, professional, and easy to work with. What really stood out was the sales manager Michael H who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out perfectly. They took the time to find options that fit my needs and worked hard to put together a great deal for me. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and completely stress-free. No gimmicks, no shady tricks, not pushy at all. Though I have some concerns about the panel fitment on the car, Preston, Michael H and the service manager Aaron promised me that those would be taken care. I left feeling confident, appreciated, and thrilled with my purchase. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an outstanding experience!

I don't usually waste my time writing bad reviews but this was one my worst experiences with car dealers in my life. And I grew up in a family of used car dealers. Car salesmen have the reputation they do for a reason. But when you go to a dealership you expect to be treated with a little more respect than you get at a 3rd rate tote the note lot. My wife is on a budget and made that budget clear from the start. She looked at a couple of vehicles there non of which she could afford met her criteria. The next day the salesmen called her wanting to show her a car we knew was about $4000 out of her price range but he insisted he could get it down to close to where she needed. We were not available until the next Wednesday so we agreed to meet then both Monday and Tuesday she received calls from the salesmen and 2 different managers to confirm our appointment (only mildly annoying at this point). To be fair the car was nice and in very good condition as well as sticker price being on par with with other vehicles with same mileage and trim package ( still $4000 out of her price range) "but they where going to work it out for her". If they would have tried to pressured her into buying the car at the $400 a month payment it was worth we would have left annoyed our time was wasted but not angry and insulted. I guess I should note we where looking at a $34000 car with a $12000 down payment and a very good credit score. After the test drive the salesmen comes back with an offer scribbled on a piece of paper for 36,48,60,72, and 84 months the lowest monthly payment at 84 months for about $700 which with her down payment would have had her paying out $80000 for that $34000 vehicle. When seeing this being shocked and insulted asked to see what interest rate they came up with to get that was told that him being a salesmen was not allowed to see that information and that I needed to calm down that he was on our side. Still confused and insulted my wife and myself sat there and waited for the next offer where they had dropped the down payment by $100 a month Still for 84 months. Which still would have her over $62000 for the same vehicle. At that point as we where getting up to leave anyway. Where told that was the best they could do and if we couldn't do that we might as well leave 🤣.
We ended up going to Norm Reeves Honda in North Richland Hills where she got a 2023 passport with almost everything she wanted (only a few concessions) right at the payment she was looking for. And this was only a 72 month note. The salesmen showed all interest rates with every offer. She was on the way home with her new passport 2 hours after test drive. Norm Reeves very much worth the extra 30 minute drive
