Vehicles sat waiting while employees were poorly allocated, standing around or focused on the wrong tasks instead of actively servicing cars. There was no sense of urgency, no workflow coordination, and no visible leadership managing the process. What made it worse was the complete lack of communication. Customers were left sitting for 30–45 minutes with no explanation, no updates, and no transparency. When I asked for clarity, the response was dismissive and unprofessional — a clear reflection of bad management, not just frontline employees. This location doesn’t have a staffing problem — it has a management problem. Poor manpower allocation, inefficient processes, and an apparent willingness to let customers walk away rather than fix the bottlenecks. That’s unacceptable for a company that markets itself as “instant.” I would strongly recommend avoiding this location unless Valvoline corporate steps in to address the intentional inefficiency, lack of leadership, and disregard for customer time. There are plenty of competitors who respect their customers — this place does not.

However every time I’m here it takes 1-1.5 hours to get serviced when I’m the 2nd or 3rd car in line when I’ve been told it’s 15 mins per car. Twice I’ve been here and they’ve shut an entire lane down with no communication to the cars in that line. I’ve been shuffled to an open lane from a closed one only for them to reopen the lane and service cars that arrived after I did. I have been a customer for over 5 years (starting in San Diego)but will not be returning to valvoline because of this Waxahachie,TX store service.
