- DMD MercerDec 27, 20251.0Absolutely terrible customer service I walk in looking for one part waiting to get help while four employees are standing around not one person asked if I needed any assistance. I’m standing right in front of the counter staring at them. I stood there for approximately 15 minutes just staring, finally as my frustrations grew. I decided to walk out the store and head to O’Reilly’s and one employee says have a nice day AutoZone regional office needs to really conduct a review of the store and customer service and I will be calling the regional office. They can review cameras and see the for themselves.

I can't remember their names but I definitely remember faces. If and when I ever have to go back I hope that the parts manager is there because he'll be the only one helping me from now on!

I went to AutoZone today on an errand for my husband and a man named DJ/Donnie greeted me and asked how he could be of assistance. He looked up the items that I needed but mentioned that the computer didn't show it in stock within the district. It was unfortunate to hear so I went out to my car to find another car-parts store in town. While idling and looking up a different store, I noticed him looking around in the parking lot for something or someone. He came up beside my car (In the rain) and let me know that he had googled the needed parts and manually tracked down and found the parts on some stock shelves in the store! I was honestly shocked at the intentionality that he put into trying to find what I needed. I left AutoZone feeling so valued as a customer, knowing that he didn't just go above and beyond in tracking down the part, but he also tried to track me down to make sure that I left with what I needed! That alone makes me want to use AutoZone for ever. Seriously. Best service ever. Please give him a raise or shoutout or both. Sincerely, A forever customer
