  My overall experience was a very good one. I pulled in right after work, around 5:35pm. This was 30 minutes before they closed. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The other praise is they were extremely meticulous about their whole process and making sure the car had a successful oil change (making sure all pieces were put back together the right way) Normally, businesses close to closing time would be rushing, would be very short and sometimes rude. This location was the opposite, they did fantastic and has secured my business for future oil changes.

  Stopped in early on a Saturday. Sarah( mgr) was quick to communicate the time expected to service my car. Dallas and Caleb? Performed wonderfully under the car and hood.

  Patrick was awesome and made sure i was ok with everything going on. Very communicative and helpful. Whole team worked like a well oiled machine(pun intended)

  Excellent service! Sarah did a wonderful job checking over all the work that was done during my oil change. I always come here due to the great work the whole team does!

  An oil change should not take 20-30 minutes to complete. Just having a conversation with a few employees in the shop you can tell NONE of them have any mechanical experience. Sam is the assistant and seems like he is more worried about correcting his employees on what i would guess is " call outs" then he is doing his actual job. He corrected an employee for no being loud enough and then turns around and uses the same volume to do his so called "call outs" . Contradicting isn't it ? .. he also pretty much pressued me about a service i told him i didnt want multiple times and kept prying . I have been coming here for years, but at the time it was called KWIK KAR and it was way better . Since it changed it has become a highschool oil change experiment class in my opinion. What i learned is that most of the employees who used to work at kwik kar are over at the hewitt shop across from h.e.b and their crew is amazing . And I know everyone has their shop they like and the people , but if you ever get a chance check out the hewitt shop and you wont look back . Hewitt employees are amazing and have more mechanical knowledge then this valley mills shop.Their team doesent look like a highschool service tech class. It looks like experience in this feild. It looks like they actually care and are more personable. They dont try and force you to buy things and they don't argue with you. What they do is when you say you dont want the service today, they explain how it effects your vehicle and explains exactly how. At the hewitt shop they dont just read off a screen acting like they know how everything works, they push the screen aside and explain to you face to face with no "notes" to tell them what to say. With that being said hewitt is a way better mechanically inclined shop and I will trust that over a screen trained technician all day. I've also heard their manager at the valley mills location talk to her employees in an unprofessional way which makes me think they are only trained to read a screen and do "call outs". With all this said I promise you your best bet is the hewitt shop ..
