  Brakes oil line busted. Left me brakeless on the road. Could have died. This place didn’t have a tow truck to take it back to repair. Paid the tow company myself. Overall, bad experience. Nothing coming here again. I RECOMMEND NOT TO COME HERE

  Don was very informative, consistent, and accommodating. I've been to a few different places in Tyler to have maintenance done on my vehicle but never anywhere more professional than Mavis Tire and Brakes. I don't leave reviews often, but for Don and Mavis Tire and Breaks; I couldn't not leave a review after the great experience I had. All of the employees that I interacted with were polite and the services was crazy fast. Definitely go see them and they are safe to trust if you have ever had a bad experience elsewhere!

  Today I had a tire emergency at 630pm. Run over a screw and called them around 645pm. Got there and they did a quick patch and plug in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend these guys very friendly, quality work and quick service!

  I have mixed reviews but I personally want to shout out Robert and there’s a brown gentleman that works there and THEY WERE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I hate I can’t remember his name but I asked him to be honest with me and merely because of his genuineness I decided to do business there. The unfortunate/negative experience was the service I experienced when I came to my appointment but maybe the other guys were having a bad day. I only had my tires 48 hours and had a flat on the highway due to a leaking valve so I’m in a gas station parking lot at midnight with my wife and 3 little babies so you can imagine how I felt. They told me I needed brakes and rotors and I took it to get it looked at and that wasn’t the case which was also alarming. I get it’s a business but honesty and being considerate means something especially when you have people spending hundreds of dollars. But on the positive the two gentlemen I stated earlier are TOP OF THE LINE! Robert was busting his tale and the other gentleman got me taken care of once I brought the flat tire and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was an okay experience I’d just say make sure you go on a good day and know what you want when you go there! They said they’ll take care of me as long as I had those tires so I’ll be going back for my tire needs!
