- JCJohn CarruthersMay 8, 20211.0If you need a truck, try to rent it from somewhere else like Lowe's or something. I rented a basic truck, was told that under 4 hours would be $35 per hour. I got charged for the day at 100 and then another $55 for mileage and not to mention the $17 of gas that I put in it. With their fees and whatever else the total came out to $176.. for 3 hours! Add the gas and we are talking over $193. Looking at other Penske rental locations, I see that the Penske call center just hangs up when you call to try to resolve something - which is exactly what happened when I called them, it suddenly hung up. And up next, their social media person is going to copy/ paste their generic response here like they do to the other reviews about them. Awful. You can definitely do better somewhere else, avoid this place
