  Lauren is AWESOME!! I was not getting cold air from my A/C and she helped me get it looked at despite it being a busy Saturday. Long story short, I needed a new condenser which they were able to order and replace for me. They seem to be able to get a lot of parts same day if they don’t have them already. I wanted an OEM option which she was able to order for me which came next day. It wasn’t available same day, but when most car places order parts, very rarely do they get them even next day, let alone same day. Lauren was very commutative and punctual during the entire process and made the entire experience a breeze. She even ordered me a ride to drop me off and pick me up from work so it saved me time/money/headache of needed to figure out getting a ride myself. Also thank you to the mechanics who are extremely knowledgeable and were able to get it fixed super quick for me as well! I saved so much money and frustration by going here instead of the dealership.

  What a phenomenal staff at this location. When I called for an unplanned visit, the man was super helpful and was able to squeeze me in just minutes later. Then when checking out I was helped by Lauren. To say "helped" is an understatement. Lauren was quite literally the most helpful and informative person I've ever had assist me with my car - in my entire life. She heard my confusion, was beyond kind, and answered every question thoroughly while also giving me tools and education to further assist me with battery troubles I was having. I am moving in a couple of weeks and I can only hope the Brakes Plus location near me in my new state has someone as amazing as Lauren. This visit was the highlight of my week (and who can say that about car maintenance?!). Thank you Lauren and thank you Brakes Plus!!

  I have to give huge credit to Lauren at this Brakes Plus location for completely turning around my experience. After a really bad situation at another Brakes Plus where I never received any follow-up, I honestly had written the company off. I only came here because Discount Tire referred me for an alignment, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, Lauren went above and beyond. She was professional, direct, and genuinely cared about helping me. Another employee mentioned the higher “European car” rate and started quoting $181+ even after the Discount Tire referral, but Lauren stepped in, took over, and made sure everything was handled fairly. Because of her, my final price came out to $98 out the door — which absolutely made my day, especially after the chaotic morning I had. She didn’t have to go out of her way, but she did, and I won’t forget that. It’s rare these days to find someone who actually looks out for the customer, but Lauren did exactly that. Because of her, this is the only Brakes Plus location I’ll be returning to going forward. Lauren really went above and beyond for everyone at the shop. This location is very lucky to have her.

  Lauren is a really hard worker. I sure hope she is a manager or some elevated position. She was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I mention her by name because she was outstanding! To be fair every person I saw engaging with patrons at the Brakes Plus The Colony seemed to be very kind and knowledgeable. The price was a good value and they sometimes have coupons online!

  First off I will say the employees are always very kind and professional at this location. However I’ve had a couple issues using this location. I took my truck for an alignment the manger informed me they would need to remove the tie rod to do the work and told me it would be $380! I told him that would not work for me. They charged me $60 for looking at the truck. I found out later that the alignment check was supposed to be free on the break plus website. Second issue I had I called to ask about breaks being done they said it was $300 for the cheaper breaks. I already have break pads just need them on so I asked how much for me to bring them the part and have them do the work she said $400! How does it cost more when I provide the part ! I have used other locations and never had issue like this seems like anytime I walk in they want $400. I took my truck to another shop who did the alignment without an issue. I just went ahead and did the break myself but as I work a busy job I was more then willing to pay to have them done and save some time but not such an outrages price for an hour of work.
