    Avoid this place. They didn't want to take back a screwdriver that ended up not being the correct one for my vehicle. He said it was a little worn out due to the fact that it was used during which I attempting to use it while trying to find the screw and initially trying to see if it was the right screwdriver although I wasn't able to actually use it. Don't understand why they would make such a big deal for just a screwdriver. I ended up telling him to keep it because I didn't need it anyways.

    They were not helpful in accepting a return, sent me on to another store which ended up not accepting the return either and the manager of that store told me that this store should have accepted it. The person who helped me just ended up wasting my time. Wont be shopping at Advanced auto ever again.

    This location is worthless. Couldn’t even process a battery core return from another location because they are on an older “system”. Was told that I need to find a location that’s on the new “system” as if it’s my problem. I would have settled for store credit but wasn’t even offered that. This place is clearly still stuck in the 90s. Might as well shut this location down just like the others.

    This place is a joke. 481598530. i made this order online yesterday morning. i then went to pick it up at advance auto parts: store 7832, 107832 main street - 7599, 4901 Main Street, the colony, TX 75056-2255. I placed online order for the ignition coil for a 2019 cadillac escalade esv non flex, base model, v8. $84.99. after picking up the part, the manager was the one who brought me the part, he made a comment that I only purchased one spark plug, I explained to him, that the fault read cylinder 6, so I planned to replace that spark plug, the coil, and the cables. in any event, immediately after picking up the part, i went home, removed the old coil from bank 6, and then opened the box of the one i received from Advanced auto parts. i immediately noticed, they were not the same. I also noticed the electrical connection clip would not engage with it. that is when i realized this was not the part for my vehicle. please see attached pictures. I then had to drive back to tell the manager that the part did not fit. he then told me, he could not accept the part on return , as it had not been put in the system yet. I told him, how can it not be in the system yet? the order was done online and it is in the computer system. i stressed to him how inconvenient the whole situation is, and he told me i would have to come back another day? he fails to understand, the vehicle that i removed the coil from is required for use. i was able to purchase the part elsewhere, however, he refused to take the part back and told me, to drive back another day? who will pay for my gas and inconvenience? this made me upset. i then called advanced auto parts online orders support. the person i spoke with was worse. he insulted me and told me, i ordered the wrong part. i explained, this was done online after i put in the vehicle information as requested. if i ordered the wrong part, why was it that the spark plug and the spark plug cables i received fit perfect? i then told him i will post a review online about this place and i will send a letter to corporate, and i then asked him for his name, to which he hung up on me. i will never shop at that place again. Then today, i communicated with support, telling them, how inconvenient for me to drive back there a 3rd time. can they ship me a box with a retunr label? they told me, I would have to pay to ship it back to them. this way of treating customers is totally unacceptable . they lost a customer for ever.

    Worst parts store experience of my life, 0/10 do not shop here or any Advance Auto. Where do I begin. I suppose first of all I called and specifically said I was on my way to pick up a part that they said they had in stock, I was 5 min away and got there 15 min before closing and yet they had already locked the door and were counting their drawers down. The two of them - including the woman I talked to on the phone - ignored me knocking and saying that I JUST talked to her and I JUST needed the one part that I called about. They just said "we're closed", 15 min before closing time. Fast forward a few weeks and I made the mistake of buying brake pads here. One of the four brake pads had the correct part number stamped on the back of the pad and was similar in size, but was different than the other three to the point that it did not even fit in the caliper. I took them back at 7 o'clock in the evening and the two people working there (two different people from before) both said they can't return them because neither of them have a manager override, and they refused to call someone that could, saying only that I would have to come back in the morning when the manager was there - at 7:30 am, when I was supposed to already be at work myself. So now I have to take time off of MY job to get money back for a defective product because of poor company practices. When I worked for auto parts stores over the years it was ALWAYS required that a "manager on duty" would be there for any overrides, at any time of the day. Advance calls them "Retail Parts Professionals", and apparently it's not company policy to have them on staff anymore. This specific store has the worst customer service and also the worst quality control issues I've ever encountered in the industry, as a mechanic and as a retail parts specialist for nearly a decade. I will never shop at Advance Auto Parts again and I won't recommend them to any of my customers.
