- DMDebra MooreNov 13, 20255.0Subject: Appreciation and Follow-Up Regarding Rental Car Incident On November 5, I was pulled over while driving the first rental car I received from Enterprise, which had Louisiana license plates. The police stopped me on Interstate 20 as I was driving home and subjected me to unnecessary harassment. They made me exit the vehicle over what they claimed was a legal issue, called in a K-9 unit to search the car, and warned that if I didn’t get out, I would be forcibly removed. That same night, I called to report the incident and was advised to take the car to the Tyler Pound Field Office to exchange it. When I arrived, the representative there was not very helpful and directed me instead to the Tyler Loop 323 office. At the Loop 323 location, the staff were very welcoming and kind, but unfortunately, they did not have another vehicle available. I then contacted the Terrell office, where I had originally rented the car, and explained that I could not continue driving the vehicle with Louisiana plates. They arranged for me to go to the Mabank, Texas location, where I could exchange it for another car with Colorado plates. The gentleman at the Mabank office was exceptionally helpful and apologetic about the situation. He contacted the other office to confirm the exchange and made sure everything was handled smoothly. When I later returned the car, the employee who checked it in also expressed sincere apologies for what had happened, especially regarding the license plate issue. I want to express my appreciation to the Terrell, Mabank, and Tyler Loop 323 offices for their professionalism, kindness, and support during this situation. Enterprise truly has excellent employees who deserve recognition for how well they handled everything. Thank you again for your assistance and understanding. Debra
