  Long story short. My insurance company did some very last minute changes to my quote and some lost in translation/ just plain old bad luck communication flubs playing triangle telephone which was more so on the insurance side. But none the less I’m happy with the way things came out and Gerber in temple worked with us to make it right and the truck looks outstanding. Advice to the customers if your working with insurance keep up the communication with them and don’t let them make changes with out your knowledge. I feel like the insurance companies could do better at communicating and not leaving everything to the App and Ai to take care of.

  Took my 2026 Honda to Gerber Collision in Temple as the prior experience was excellent. This time did not go as well as expected. Dropped the SUV off fairly early on a Tuesday morning and was told that updates are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Called on Thursday afternoon and was told that some of the parts were in and that the tentative date for completion was Tuesday. Late Friday, I receive a call that it’s completed and ready for pickup. I leave my house a little after 5:00 pm. The traffic on the highway is bumper to bumper. I still need to drop off the rental car and Gerber closes at 5:30 pm. I call them back and let them know it will be Monday. They have already told the insurance company that the car is repaired. If you are local to Temple, you know that the traffic is maddening at 5:00 pm and even worse on a Friday. They also were made aware that this was a claim that I was not responsible for due to being hit. So decided to pick up the car on Monday. On Monday, when we got to Gerber, the car was outside and was very dirty. It felt gritty like there was overspray on the entire vehicle. They took it back and hand washed it and that resolved some of the issue. It was blamed on the sap but it wasn’t sap it was dust and overspray as the entire SUV is coated in it. Circumstances being what they are, Gerber definitely could have handled this entire situation better.

  Great service at Gerber Collision in Temple, Texas. The team was professional, friendly, and made the whole process easy. Communication was excellent from start to finish—they kept me updated and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION... THERE IS A THIEF AT THIS LOCATION. Someone at this shop removed my navigation chip in my 2019 Chevy Silverado. When confronted the chip was returned and not completely inserted to make it seem as if that was the problem. I had already looked and noticed the missing chip. I am 100% sure this is what happened. Thieves!!!

  I had an excellent experience with Gerber Collision & Glass. Their customer service was outstanding, and their communication (twice a week) throughout the entire repair process was clear, consistent, and professional. The quality of their work was second to none — my car looks like it was never wrecked!! I truly appreciate how smooth and stress-free they made the entire repair.
