I have been a loyal customer at this location for several years and have always received great service. Unfortunately, my visit today was marred by damage and a disappointing lack of integrity. During a routine oil change service, the technician assigned to my vehicle, unfortunately, mishandled the removal of the air filter housing cover. Instead of sliding the cover as designed, he lifted it, breaking the two plastic retention clips in the process. I personally witnessed the broken pieces fall. More concerning than the accidental damage was the subsequent response from your staff. I observed the technician and a senior staff member, whom I identified as "Ivan," acknowledging the damage; but Ivan gestured at the technician to proceed with the service as if the incident had not occurred. Only after I exited my vehicle and pointed out the broken components did staff admit fault; the staff initially deferred to a "camera review" rather than taking immediate responsibility for what occurred directly in front of me. While the technician eventually admitted to the mistake and Ivan took my phone number, and promised to contact me once they have replacement parts, I was surprised that the manager on duty never bothered to speak with me directly. My primary disappointment stems not from the accident itself, which can happen, but from the attempt to conceal it. I believe a transparent and proactive approach to resolving errors is essential for maintaining customer trust! I am hopeful this will be resolved quickly, at which point I will consider updating this review.

Jordan at the valvoline Aliana location was my servicer and he did an amazing job! Very fast service and did a multipoint inspection on my car while I waited for my oil change. I was in and out in less than 15 mins! Highly recommend seeing him and letting him take care of you!

Did TX vehicle safety inspection here but was refused by Fort Bend Tax office saying it was done too early! Need to be within 90days of car sticker expiration date (end of the month) can not be beginning of the month! Expect Valvoline techs to know these things before charging me $18 to do the inspection and Now I have to redo it, getting charged another $18 and wasting 2 to 3 hours of my time getting an appt at Fort Bend Annex and wait in line, just to find out having to drive back to Valvoline getting it redone again and Valvoline says they can't do anything and I had to wait behind the 5 cars in front of me with the single line availability and charge me again!

No more free wash according by employer with a oil changed. Over price and also I wait it over 35 minutes. Also ask if they can provide you with a discount that will help a little bit. I will highly recommend that if you are mechanical inclined go to Walmart by your oil and oil filter and do it your self save money 💰 and time.

On December 13, I visited the Valvoline location at 2528 Highway 6 in Sugar Land, TX (77478), and had a very disappointing experience. I arrived with my two young children for an oil change and ended up waiting over an hour. During the service, the mechanic broke my dipstick inside the engine. With two young children in the car waiting to get to a birthday party, I am sure you can imagine the delay was extremely stressful. As a result of the issue, my check engine light came on, and I arrived more than 30 minutes late to my 8-year-old’s own birthday party. The staff informed me that a replacement part would be ordered and that they would follow up with me. After receiving no call by Monday morning at 10:00 a.m., I returned to the location on my own at 10:38 a.m. to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this visit was just as frustrating. The mechanics made multiple trips to the store because the incorrect part was ordered and then spent additional time attempting to remove the broken dipstick. This process took over an hour. Before leaving, I also had to remind the staff to update the oil amount in my vehicle. I did not leave until 11:48 a.m. Overall, this was a very poor experience from start to finish. I am hoping to hear from management regarding a refund or appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and delay. While the assistant manager offered a discount on a future oil change, I made it clear that I do not plan to return after this experience. **Update:** The manager called and offered a discount on a future service. As I explained to the assistant manager before leaving Valvoline, that doesn’t help when I don’t plan on returning. After a bad experience, it’s unreasonable to expect that a customer would want to come back—even with a discount. Paying 50% off still means spending another $30–$50 at a business that already provided poor service. The manager stated there was nothing else he could do, and the call ended.
